For this video I was using the GoPro Hero Wide helmet cam, which has been a great video and wide-angle picture camera. Inexpensive and very capable - recommend for sure.
I now have the GoPro Hero HD as well and it is totally awesome. Besides the HD clarity, it has a bunch of improved features like an long-lasting rechargeable battery, louder and distinctive sound "beeps" when starting and stopping the camera and a better dim light video capability - totally recommend.
