@DiegoShining It's a wonderful city. Much cleaner than New York or other large cities. A very green city! The people here tend to be more laid back but do tend to keep to themselves in the city a little bit more than in NYC, which some people don't like. Also, the downtown itself is pretty small, and is surrounded on all sides by great neighborhoods with a variety of characters. Another plus (I heard someone say this once), NYC is a city with a park in it, Seattle is a park with a city in it.

@waves1of9terror Maine has everything one could ask for. If you ask for more you are a greedy sob. We have ever greens year round. Hense the Pine Tree State. Also we are the end of the appalachian Trail. We have mountains but no not at 1400 we have 52 mountains.

I've traveled and I'm saying nothing beats the Great State of Maine. Sorry Washington, I'm staying home.

@angel2rx Seattle is the best place to be if you love rain! :) But you know what? If you are looking to have the best time of your life here in Seattle, YOU cannot miss and I mean you cannot miss walking around Downtown Seattle! There's just so much place to go to and to shop at! :) I love to go there every weekend just to walk around because it's really relaxing and enjoyable! Especially if you hear all those people playing different types of music! :) You'll love it here! :)

Anyone work on the Ferry boats out in Washington State. I was wondering what its like working there. I work for a ferry service in Maine as a deckhand. How difficult is it to get a job in that line of work. I imagine pretty difficult, but if someone had a background in this sort of thing already would it be easier?

@BaldEagle841 I don't know a lot about ferry work, but the ferry system we have here is the biggest in the country, and with previous experience I'm sure finding a job wouldn't be too hard. On of the biggest ferry routes is in Edmonds, where I live. I'd really recommend Edmonds as a place to live.
