  • I didn't know DPR could read! Wow! :O

I wonder if he'll read my eulogy when I die...

  • DPR, please read some Paddington Bear stories next. Thanks.

  • Creature approves poetry.

  • I have a question. When will you be releasing the Insance Clown Posse Remix?

  • Please stop, you're murdering some beautiful poetry, you have a good speaking voice, you may wish to consider using it for something constructive like a factual audio book booksshouldbefree.c0m, I say factual as you convey all the emotions of a manically depressed rock on Prozac, I suppose there is the ironic humour about it, but narrr

  • I wish you did books on cd.

  • DUDE, dpr, these are fuckin AWESOME.

  • I really like your voice & the way you read this poem. My problem is that I'm as dense as a bag of hammers when it comes to understanding poetry.

  • Seriously. Read Rime of the Ancient Mariner. All of it in one amazing go. DO IT!

  • I think I know Jeremy Irons when I hear him. Nice try, DPR.

  • @AnneOnAMoose

That's who he sounds like!!! I've been thinking about it for months!

    Thank you.

  • very alike the author's original recording, but good to hear again

  • Wow! This was a meaty poem.

  • Ok next challenge, The Cat in the Hat by Doctor Seuss

  • nearly as good as Richard burton. He was the true master for this poem

  • well read. in honer of the death of labour today? I was sad too!

  • @dprjoneslives

I would love to hear you read "IF" by Rudyard Kipling (sorry if my spellings shot)

  • @A5Hellcat I SECOND THAT.

  • I think that's "one with the man in the moon and the west wind," not "man in the wind and the west moon."

I only noticed it because this is one of my favorite Dylan Thomas poems. Except for that, you read it beautifully.

  • You know, DPR would be great for a voiceover for Marvin, the clinically depressed robot from The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy

  • @johnnyphoenix74 Ohhh he would be perfect for that.

  • You have a great voice for this :)

  • I hope this becomes a regular thing for you. You have the perfect voice for it.

  • Beautiful!

  • is it okay that i pretend you have the hairmank of the ilk like thunderfoot, it gives the poem more strenght in my crappy mind -.-

you got a good voice btw, thx.

  • Thank you.

  • Very nice job jones.
