The first Jaws was a classic and should not be messed with. Hollywood needs to start thinking about different movies to make and not making remakes because most of them suck! Another thing, if they do make another Jaws, I have a feeling they are gonna do fake ass computer animation all over the movie! So it will probably suck any way. It is pretty stupid having a shark attack a helicopter it would be bound to injur itself even if it was a 'jaws'. Yes white sharks have been famously filmed leaping out of the water but this puts it in the same vein as that giant octopus vs mega shark crap. You can only suspend disbelief up to a point before it becomes cartoon like. I mean if you're going to go this far, why not have the shark flying around in rain clouds, or going up the drain and bursting out of the lavatory?

I've watch a lot of shark documentaries and I will never be scared of shark films ever again. The success of the early Jaws franchise is that people before were ignorant and think that shark will attack everything. They even believe in flying piranhas!

I would like to see a new Jaws movie, because shark movies are cool when they don't suck. i think it would be pretty cool if they remade the first one. i thought of a cool trailer, and it's kinda similar to this one. it has the same beginning where it has the companies names in the water, and you see the girl from the first scene of the movie. the screen goes black and says in red letters "just when you thought it was safe", then dissolves into blood. you see the girl swimming again, screen goes back to black "to go back in the water", you see her stop, then drown.

The Original Premise for Jaws was good. A small beach town with a Shark Problem hires a few men to hunt down the shark. When they finally encounter the beast, it's larger, stronger and more aggressive than they could have ever imagined. Jaws 2,3,4 were all horrible B movies.
