It's not the London Cast, it's just the film cast. A lot of the actors aren't British, either. Aeva May, for example (Demeter) is actually from Australia (Or possibly New Zealand. Exact country slipped my mind).

if my school had more than about 175 students (high school AND middle school, no lie!) i would totally make us do it. as it is, we'd have maybe, macavity, mr. mistoffelees, old deuteronomy, grizabella, rum tum tugger, and mungojerrie and rumpleteazer and maybe cassandra, demeter and bobalurina, some, possible double-cast, and we'd still not be able to do it because i don't think there are that many people who can sing and dance at the same time
