correction this is the first perfect ten in OLYMPIC history nadia did score the first ten in history but it was at the world championships that same year just prior to the games ...she got a ten on the floor

Because back then with the often changings from one bar to another it needs maximum ability and gentle movements.Now it's all about strenght, all gymnast look like they're about to push a beer truck.There is no more style and elegance now.Back than it was all about style and elegance and strenght wasn't as decisive as it is now.

Coming from a poor country makes you kind of feel that the best is not exactly expected from you and she has spirit and heart. She's not full of herself like the others might of been back in the day. I'm also Romanian and I feel way too modest most of the time to accept compliments and gestures no matter how much they think I deserve it so I'm not sure if it has to do with where we came from or how we were raised. Nadia is amazing and I feel proud and honored that she represents Romania. :):):)
