Moses said another will come, hear him or be cut off. Jesus said, that Moses will accuse you, as Moses wrote of me. Moses didn't have the words of life or he woould have spoken it. If he had given that answer, more ppl would ask "then is it possible that they are immortal?" and that would lead to 100 different questions, most of which have to do w/ Marifat (or hidden knowledge) which most of us don't know. Did muhammad see Jesus? What are muhammads prophecies that makes him a prophet? If muhammad is from God as exalted by muslims, why did he died and perished in the grave without been taken to heaven. Jesus/Isa (pbuh) was the 2nd last Prophet and Messenger. Muhammad (sm/pbuh) is the last Prophet and Messenger. Though it is not clear whether Jesus will return as a Prophet or not but surely not as a new Messenger according to Islam. Even as a Prophet it's true that he will follow Islam, as "Prophet's follow the teaching/message of the last Messenger". We need more clarification whether Jesus/Isa (pbuh) is going to return as a Prophet or as an ordinary man.

And it is not truth that Isa is risen alive. Allah said that He first tavaffa and than rafiiuka. (al-Imran 56) , which means Allah first took soul of Isa as , he was dead , and than Allah raised him up. because same word is used and for Idris as. That Allah raffa him an high place, but spiritually (Surah Maryam verse57 and 58)
