-Maybe in the belltower.. and who knows, the LORD has his own misterious ways.. Even a demonic creature may become usefull, and he will be usefull to me..
"And cruel Frollo gave the baby a name, which means 'Half Formed"...Quasimodo...
Try to solve what's hidden in the riddle of the sounds of Notre Dame.. Who's the monster and who's the human being? with the voices of " RING RING RING RING.... of the bells of NOTRE.....DAME!!!"....
Gypsy Runs, he catches up with her,she asks for sanctuary, she falls and dies... He notices the baby... -A baby? .....He cries... -Ah! a MONSTER! He goes and about to throw him down the well.. -No! ....Cried the archdeacon.... -This is a cursed demon, i'm sending him to hell, he belongs there! - You just spilled an inncent blood of a woman, on the steps on note Dame.. - I'm guiltless, she ran, i pursued.. -On your conscience he will stay forever, the baby of Notre Dame! -My conscience is clear!
"But a trap had been laid to them there, and they gazed out infront of them with horror, at their enemy who took an oath to eliminate them to the sounds...
-Judge Claud Frollo!
"... Of the bells of Notre Dame..."
-He swore to clean the world out of corruption... In his eyes, everybody were criminals, only he was perfect....
-Bring the cockroaches Gypsies to the Palace of Justice..
-You there! what are you hiding??
-Something stolen, without a doubt.TAKE THIS FROM HER!
They don't? -No you silly boy. Up there, high, on the belltower, a misterious bellringer lives. Who is this creature? -Who? -What is he? -What? -How did he come to be there? -How? -QUIET! Clopin will tell everything. It's a tale. a tale of a human and of a monster... ....."In a dark night our story is written, on the docks of Notre Dame... -That he will keep quit! -They will find us! -Calm down, little one! ...."a group of frighten gypsies slid silenty under the docks of Notre Dame..... .......
@OwlCityAlbums Those nordic versions you mentioned where great, the Swedish version's last note was just *amazing*. =D In my comment I meant the European Portuguese version, although the Brazilian Portuguese singer was quite good, too. ;)
Wow...out of four versions that I've heard, the Hebrew Clopin definitely hits the last note best (in the clearest, least strained way), in my opinion.
you're right - especially because of the rhiming phrases in hebrew "try to solve the riddle of the bells of notre-dame" and then "who is the monster and who is the man (mi hamiflezet umi ha'adam - in hebrew)
i swear I heard the word "bells" near the end of the "sing the bells, bells, bells, bells..." part.. (around 5:24 or so) But hey... what can I say? Everyone loves that last note, no matter what language....
WOW - the guy who dubbed Clopin - what a voice he has!! I've noticed in a few of the other languages, the voice over sneakily let them keep the final note on this song, the one done by the English singer. But in this one he went for the final note, and what a difficult note for any man to hit!! I'm very impressed by him!
Evill frollo gave the baby a name which means "Half-Made" Quasimodo,
Try please to solve what is hidden in the riddle of the Bells of Notre Dam, Who is the monster and who is the man, with the voices of the rings of the bells of Notre Dam.
It never fails to amaze me that the producers always seem to be able to cast voice actors with voices that match in character, delivery and rhythm in the new language being dubbed as when it was originally recorded in English.
Clopin has a lovely rich vibratto. The gypsies are quieter when they tell her to make the baby stop crying, which I think makes more sense since they're trying to not be caught! Frollo is a little too loud and explosive, he should be quiet and menacing. MAN Clopin held that last note for a long time!
It's a very different Clopin (Not that it's a bad thing) I love Frollo when he i speaking, hate him when he is singing. And the priest is the best I've ever heard.
Thank you Disney for giving me a pure and magical childhood...

"....For the first time, he lost his control... Frollo felt a shadow of fear for the immortality of his soul..."
-What must i do?
-Take care of the child, like he was yours

"...Morning, Paris is waking to the croud's sound of Notre Dame
The fisherman fishes, the bakerman bakes, to the sounds of Notre Dame..
They growl with fury, like thunder...
They whisper their prayers to themselves
And some say it's the sound of their soul that you hear....
The bells of Notre Dame..
Listen, they're beautiful,no?
So many different sounds, changing moods,
You know they don't ring all by themselves....
