  • Both Elvis and Michael Jackson changed music . Elvis changed the way music was performed and became the first real global music icon. Michael Jackson changed the way music was presented in the form of multimedia. He also changed the way music was performed. Both contributed to music greatly and influenced various artists around the world. Fighting over who did more or who is better is ridiculous because it shouldn't matter.

  • what is the name of the remix of all shook up in this commerci

    al

  • Hateman was right about this ad

  • where can I find this version of the song? I've only been able to find the slow tempo version.

  • Elvis changed music before MJ. Get over yourselves.

  • @cmmmm95 Does that change the fact that MJ changed music too? Besides, Elvis was born in 1935 and MJ in 1958. Of course he was gonna change music before MJ did, he was already the biggest star on Earth before MJ was even conceived. Use better logic.

  • Of Course you're gonna have some (Not all) white's to say Elvis is better than MJ because he's a white legend compared to a black legend. And vice versa with blacks and MJ. My opinion? Yes jackson broke all of elvis's records, hellova lot better dancer, and usually made his own music, while there are rumors that elvis copied from other black artist n idk if that's true, but if so, maybe he popularized it like MJ popularized the moonwalk. I say they changed big chunks of music history together.

  • what's the name of the song.?

  • @benzeeable1 All Shook up by the one and only Elvis

  • how do you guy pronounce the word sirius? do you pronounce it as serious or do you pronounce it as syrus??

  • @ruddiato It's pronounced serious.

  • Howard sucks, MJ is a kid toucher and Elvis is King. End of discussion.

  • You guys need to stop fighting over whose better or who changed music more. Elvis and MJ are both two of my favorite musicians. Elvis helped break music barriers for black and whites in the 50s and MJ broke barriers for black musicians in the 80s. Don't act as if MJ can't hold a candle to Elvis, it's simply foolish to say. It's like saying The Rolling Stones can't hold a candle to The Beatles. Both of these men are the two greatest solo musicians of all time. Just enjoy the music.

  • @lsufa bullshit mj worshipped the guy mj's maid found a sketch mj drew of Elvis in the paper bin while cleaning n sold it to the tabloids for 30,000 that was disclosed by mj lawyer mesereau in court as is defense! mj isn't shit without Elvis that the truth he didn't want out! The guy even married Elvis daughter n had several of Elvis personnel like Joe Esposito working for him! Mj wanted to be as big as Elvis n even preferred dying like Elvis rather than marlon brando! do the math my friend!

  • @Zecalran How does that even pertain to my comment? I didn't say anything about MJ being better than Elvis or MJ not liking Elvis. MJ didn't want to die like Elvis. He feared dying like Elvis. You want someone who worships Elvis? That would be Nicolas Cage. The only reason why he married Lisa Marie was because she was Elvis's daughter. He even has a shrine of him at his home. MJ and Elvis are two different artists in two different eras. You can't compare the two.

  • This is so funny! I watch it all the time. And yes, I always dance to!

  • jacksons also a little kid lover

    nuff nuff

  • lets get rid of opinions and look at the facts:

Jackson holds numerous Guinness World Records including the most Grammy Awards won in a year, most hit singles in the UK charts in a year, best selling album of all time, longest span of No.1 hits by an R&B artist, best selling music video, highest annual earnings ever for a pop star, and most successful pop music family.-Guiness World Records 2009.

He's the most known person on Earth!

I am a MJ fan btw.

  • @vince3617 I suggest you look again dickhead ..Elvis holds the record for the most albums that went platinum 153 , the most number 1's ..23 in the uk , the most weeks on the charts 1200 weeks accumilated on the british charts ..usa 19 no.1's and world wide accumilated 38 No.1's outside the usa and uk ..in total 61 no.1's. Graceland most visited private home in USA .750,000 VISITORS PER YEAR. ELVIS' HAWAII SHOW WATCHED BY 1.5 BILLION PEOPLE IN 1973.

Elvis was the top gross actor in Hollywood

  • Comment removed

  • @vince3617 Elvis was the most famous man on the planet before Jackson was born and still is today..say the name Elvis anywhere on the planet they know who you are talking about ..where as Micheal who ?????????? if you don't like Elvis why are you on here dumb ass ??

  • lmao Richard Pryor is saying "I can't get this shit right"

  • I like this version! Is it live Elvis or something???

  • @magnuswu It is Elvis from the 1968 Comeback Special :D

  • Elvis Presley was ALREADY the King of Rock and Roll music BEFORE Michael Jackson was even BORN! When MJ first started getting big in music (late 60's), Elvis was the biggest thing in music. Music IS the way it is now because Elvis changed music forever. I LOVE Elvis Presley. There never will be another Elvis

  • Comment removed

  • tht jersey michael jordan was wearing i got one just like it afetr i saw this commercial there worth over $200

  • ROFL howard got 2 secound on that ad, no wander he so pissed off about it

  • I gotta say also another comment Elvis being a landslide over MJ one I think they're borderline equals but MJs def my favorite performer.

But about Elvis breaking barriers blacks originated that genre why wouldn't they like it also they're a minoritiy in the country in the first place along with media outlets that would of course be in his favor at that time.

  • woah some of these comments are really off.

Elvis did steal a lot of the Rock N Roll guys took from Blues ask music historians.

Micheal Jackson has influenced the last 2 decades at least dance/sing/act in general and globally he is a reference for many.

And Howard Stern yeah hes not on these guys level at all hes just put in for XM because hes gonna be a big draw for them its an ad. The other three are influential beyond measure.

Nothing against anyone but thats backed up.

  • Richard Pryor was the man.

  • Where can I download this version of the song 68 comeback? I don't want the crowd cheering in the background.

  • why are you guys talking about elvis vs. michael jackson. the only mj in this video is michael jordan

  • Michael Jackson did not change anything and that is why he is not on there! He was perhaps the greatest selling music artist of all time but did not introduce pop to the world.

  • Elvis over MJ by a landslide. Elvis' appeal was across the board. Not just to blacks and 12 year old boys. In a time without internet, MTV or FM radio, he smashed all the barriers of race, age, genre. Everything.

  • elvis was a ( alleged racist) thief that stole from chuck berry and other black musicians only white people loved elvis, the world loved michael jackson

  • @Stillmatic5966

Elvis was not a racist, and did not "steal" anything. That's only what racist blacks will tell you, and that's also the reason why not most blacks did and do not like Elvis, you're all racist.

  • you are not supposed to say stupid staff you know

  • @Stillmatic5966 Everyone loved Elvis and Jackson in their times. Stop acting liek children.

  • how can you even compare MJ to Elvis? Elvis wins by a landslide.

  • Great commercial. I agree all of these guys changed their art form. The commerical has a lot of credibility.

  • where can i get this version of the song?

  • wats the name of the song

  • Elvis Presley - All shook up (68 comeback special)

  • Baba Booey, Hey Now!

    Stern Rules

  • Morons, Elvis sold more than michael, over 1 billion, you are idiots, all of you MJ fans

  • @sp33d40 “Morons, Elvis sold more than michael over 1 billion”

Wrong! All the talk re: 1 billion sales; there is NO OFFICIAL numbers for the Beatles/Elvis Internet debate. NOT one!. All arguing about sales #s yet NO official declaration from any music establishment /or official body.

Also, any sales increase is ONLY since EP died OVER 30+ years. EP had nowhere near such sales at the time he died, whereas, its more official that MJ had ALREADY sold over 750 million BEFORE he died. Fact!

  • @tonm08

Stop licking Jackson's balls or he'll rise from the ashes to rape your future children.

  • @NellaN1337

"Stop licking Jackson's balls or he'll rise from the ashes to rape your future children."

Seems nobody likes you...I can see why, too. What I stated are facts - tough sh*t for you, hey!?!

Stop "licking" HITLER'S balls, ya dozy twat!

  • @automail22

Yeah, that is Richard Pryor he is probably the greatest comedian of all time.

  • Agree 100%

  • The'yre are not comparing one to another... they are describing how each individual changed their own industry or occupation.

  • MJ is shit compared to Elvis, Rolling stones has Elvis as the 3rd best singer of all time, MJ as 25th! MJ did not change anything. What did MJ do? He has black shoes and white socks, Elvis did that first. MJ is only known for his white glove, Elvis is for his sideburns, rebellious dancing and unique dress style, he was an outcast because of it. MJ stole the moonwalk! All you MJ fans sicken me, if a singer only needs to be good at dancing watch daning with the stars, I prefer Elvis for his voice.

  • @sp33d40 what your saying is irrelevent. michael was a more successful preformer than elvis! he sold more records and he did influence tons of other preformers. he broke down barriers being the first black preformer on mtv. true he did not invent the moonwalk but he introduced it to the world. btw your comment on if a singer only needs to be good at dancing watch daning with the stars. michael had a different, fantastic voice. his dancing is just a bonus! he is the greatest preformer ever!

  • >he broke down barriers being the first black preformer on mtv

Elvis introduced "black music" to the white people.

    >michael had a different, fantastic voice

He had the voice of a 12 years old girl.

    >he is the greatest preformer ever!

    No.

  • Shutup asshole. They were both talented and the premier entertainers of their eras. By the way, if you think music has been the same since Thriller you're a nuthead. MJ is known for his dancing, singing, revolutionizing music videos, breaking down racial barriers on MTV and the radio and he didn't "steal" the moonwalk anymore than Elvis "stole" black music. And forget the white glove, that's 90's MJ, 80's MJ was just ridiculous. Elvis never reached Thriller level.

  • Elvis may have in total sold more records but MJ was more popular world wide than Elvis. He is ONLY known for his white glove?? Thats ridiculous. He is more iconic than Elvis. He also has the best selling record of all time! Elvis never came close to anything like Thriller.

  • well he changed the music like it or not!! MJ may have a chapter on his own in the book of music but he didn't make a breakthrough

  • yeah and mj i known as the best basketball player in the world so stfu

  • @sp33d40

right on! love it, tell it like it is!

  • @sp33d40 thank you for you opinion.

  • Comment removed

  • @sp33d40 You can love and appreciate Elvis Presley, but don't pretend MJ wasn't influential. What he did for R&B, Soul, and Pop (and any artist of color) was nothing short of amazing. If I recall, "Thriller" is still the best selling album of all time with over 750 million units sold. Also, you claim MJ stole the moonwalk(it was taught to him by Jeffrey Daniels of Soul Train and Shalimar fame) Elvis stole his style from unrecognized Black blues and R&B artists. So please, don't judge.

  • @drelle504 Elvis never stole shit. Elvis lived, ate, went to church with and grew up with black ppl as well as black musicians!

  • @sp33d40 wat are u talkin about mj made dance moves and styles which are still used by artists and people now e.g. pink, rihanna chris brown neyo and way more tell me wat did elvis do that people still do now

  • @Eazzypeezy Uhh There is no provocative dancing without Elvis. But what he did was overrated because America ignored black music in the 50's.

  • @Eazzypeezy Micheal who ???? oooh the pedo ..oh him..never mind mate you will grow out of it ..maybe when you start puberty

  • Anyone know where you can download this version of "All shook up"?

  • ...and guess what comes on the TV when I click on this

  • "Im all shook up!"

  • Rip Mr MICHAEL JACKSON THE BEST THERE WILL EVER BE!!! from the hoold LONG BEACH CALIF!!

because of Chirst frist who gave u the gift of music im not a Gangster on the streets thanks to the video beat it!!

  • too bad only Americans can change the world...

if this was a European commercial i guarantee you they would be more open minded...

  • how did howard stern get with these legends.

  • He owns a large share of the stock.

  • @amartin7889

Plus he really did change radio. All the morning shows are watered down versions of his show.

  • Comment removed

  • Howard Stern has no business with legends like Elvis, His Royal Airness and Richard Pryor...no business whatsoever.

And Michael Jackson was the Elvis of the 80's. They both changed music and entertainment forever. Stop arguing over them. They both had their issues and were both talented as hell.

  • Elvis may have not changed music itself, but he became such an icon that he changed the industry. Anything was printed with Elvis on it.

  • i prefer rap but im sayin elvis is the king of music . i think mj was the only talent in his era so it made him look better than he is

  • I think Elvis and Michael Jackson alike changed music...even if you like more than the other you cannot deny the impact they left on the musical world.

  • Michael Jackson changed music.

Richard Pyor is king of comedy corrrect.

  • how did he change music? he didn't do nething controversial as a young black kid singing kids bop lol. Elvis influenced a movement not to be afraid to play music cause its not politically correct and produced rock when no one would.

  • Comment removed

  • Look at his name and you'll understand why it can't be taken seriously.

  • what's the song called in this commercial?

  • all shook up-Elvis Presley

  • I would say the Beatles changed music and Lenny Bruce changed comedy. I believe Richard Pryor was better but Lenny Bruce was the first stand-up comedian to use foul language. He influenced the all-time great stand ups.

  • They did change things. They may not have been the first or the ones who made the biggest impact, but they did change things.

  • the Beatles brought British rock to a country already listening to it, they didn't change it by producing some great music.

  • The Beatles changed culture. How old are you...likely nowhere near the age of someone who actually saw when they exploded in America. They changed culture and music. And Jackson broke racial barriers and revolutionized pop in the 20th century. He's influenced every pop artist since the release of Thriller. A 9 song album selling 100 million is insane.

  • I love the beagles and Jackson 5 first. But how exactly did the beatles change culture? And for mj ppl are only talking about him cause he's dead. All because he made great music and I agree influenced ppl as did the beatles doesn't mean they changed it they just added beats to a genre pop and rock. Elvis changed it. The King of Rock.

  • Chuck Berry is the real creator of rock anyway.

  • the only thing he changed was his face, Elvis is the king of rock =P

  • LOL!

  • i hate this commercial elvis didnt change nobody music alot of the stuff he did he copied and rippedoff yea he is steal talent but how you gone compare him 2 Jordan,Richard Pryor and Howard Stern now they really did change things

  • omg elvis did change music just read about it please

  • Comment removed

  • There is room for all opinions here; however, many critics would argue your opinion.

  • Disagree. You don't need to write music to change the way music is played. Elvis used sexuality n his performance. No one else did it like him. You cannot deny that this helped change music in some way.

  • thank you, fist time i heard someone agree.

  • Actually Elvis mixed different genres of music to create Rock&Roll, which was a new kind of music for the teens at that time. And although some may disagree with the fact that the blues singers sang "rock&roll" first, he was the first one to actually make it worldwide known for white teens around the world. MJ is great too, but remember that this is a commercial, who wants to appeal to a wide audience, and MJ can create some controversy, and that isn't what the marketers are looking for.

  • @KeepTrue56 your sooo wrong !!!! There is a quote by John Lennon that says "before Elvis there was nothing." This is what Elvis did. He was a major influence on today's music. He gave other musicians of his time a chance to break free. He challenged the boundaries of music during his time. Sam Philips, the owner of Sun Record, once said, "if I could find a white man who sings like a black man I would be rich," and that is exactly what he found in Elvis. he opened the door for sooo many artists

  • @betterdayz86

I am going to say this but you guys are not living in the real world to say Elvis did not have an impact that changed music forever. Yeah the guy did not change music by writing great songs he changed music in the way he performed them. If you don't think so, just look at every pop artist today which uses sexuality in their performance just like he did. Where did that come from? Sorry but you guys are not seeing this fully.

  • Elvis and Jordan kick ass!!

  • What song is this?

  • Comment removed

  • I love Sirius Radio, this commercial is great, and the service is totally worth it. Listening to Howard 100 right now.

  • *UGH*!!! LOL!!!! Howard Stern is sooo hott! :DDD

  • howard stern changed radio

  • who changed radio?

  • who's the guy that that change comedy

  • Dude, Richard Pryor. Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy and all other most modern black comics consider him their major influence. His stuff is hilarious!

  • Love this commercial and the music is wow! Agree with KeepTrue56 on the female issue although I think this was intended to highlight a male star "Stern".

  • What's the name of the guy that changed Comedy?

  • Richard Pryor

  • Elvis' 1968 Comeback Special version - All Shook up

  • I love Sirius Radio. No word is left unsaid. Just the way I fucking like it :)

  • nevermind, i found it

  • please share, i literally was just about to type that

  • is there a version of the song by elvis like this. i heard the original and its slower and it had no brass.

  • Hey Vince3617. I agree with you, this version is faster and with brass, and I really like it, I wonder where can I find this version.

  • I know that an album was released in conjunction with the Comeback Special, so its possible that you can find this version on the LP. Also, YT has clips from this tv special, too.......EP in perfect voice and form.....................

  • great stuff, elvis and michael making their own comebacks and the whole world was watching, truly sports and music are deep connected by the human spirit.

  • howard!!!!

  • Okay...i know Elvis and Jordan, but who are the other two guys?

  • Wow really dude Richard Pryor and Howard Stern? Not making fun of ya but they are pretty damn famous.

  • Richard Pryor are you kidding me....

  • What's the name of the song for this commercial?

  • elvis - i'm all shook up.

  • does anyone else notice that all of these life changing individuals happen to be men? where is the recognition of female accomplishment? granted, the people in this commercial are/were amazing and did change the course of what they were doing, but are there really no worthwhile women famous enough to represent the other half of the population?

  • lol halleuia wklaudem, for once i would like to see a woman, like where the fuck was OPRAH,Liztaylor. Diana Ross,

they changed day time tv, hollywood, and women importance.

    w.e

  • @KeepTrue56 yeah this commercial it's good till jordan and then should go, oprah changed tv , wow it would have been a killer.

  • "Female accomplishment"

    Haha good one, my friend.

  • if howard leaves sirius will crash

  • right

  • Howard can never be replaced. He is one of a kind.

  • Howard Stern is such a G. (God I havent called anyone a G in years but it's so true)

  • Jordan, Pryor and Stern should be honored, this commercial makes them worthy of being three pimples on the the King's backside:)

  • Anyone know the name of the Elvis song playing during this commercial?

  • All Shook Up, 1968 comeback special. By far a way better version than the original recording.

  • Comment removed

  • all shook up

  • RICHARD!!!!

  • Sick type treatment though. Love the subtle overlap and movement. The type on the MJ section is insane. Well done...

What are they trying to sell me again?

  • HOO HOO tell em fred i am only just as relavent and the rest of these people are to their careers currently.

  • wah!! make sense

  • howard is not elvis pryor or jordan, clear enough fucker?

  • and neither of them could present a number 1 radio programme that is listened to worldwide. still, your first comment didnt make any sense, where you drunk when you made it? "to elvis and them currently, shit, nah, is them are being to me!!" made as much sense as your coment. dope

  • wait you are seriously gonna say my comment was illegible when your just wrote that susan boyle shit of a sentence, you really arte so worthless that id rather eat oraneg rinds than ever read any comment from you again, how about you just bow to me now, give me a rimjob and admit how much masculinity turns you on you ingrateful fucking worthless piece of pocket lint

  • yeh everyone got that context

  • okay...... you are retarded, i love pryor, dsnt matter bout the other one

  • i swear i hate this commercial bc it makes me think that its a commercial for a show now matter how many times i see this

  • ahehe love the elvis move

  • STERN RULES BABA BOOEY

  • lol thats random howard stern haha

  • Go Howard Stern!!!!! Stern fan for life

  • After all of these years, Elvis is still popular!!!!!!!! Who would have thought his image would be still be such a recognizable one????

  • micheal jordan babi #23 6 rings eat it bitches!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • nope elvis did because elvis came before wacko jacko you fuck face you = fail

  • so what, just because mj died doesnt mean he is the best, i like elvis better

  • Thats cool. But he's not the best because he died, he's the best because of his music you silly goose.

  • Bout time Richard Pryor is getting the respect he desrves!!!

  • ebay is auctioning a Richard Pryor award thing... own a piece of the legend.
