The reason they sometimes performed 'sub-par' on the Inhuman Rampage tour (which most clips online are from and from which most people base their opinions) was because they literally hadn't had any time to rehearse the songs they had just released before they were scheduled to go on tour. On later tours they were flawless.

Here is the arguement in a nutshell... one side "dragonforce sucks live" other side, "they kick ass hell yea so stfu.'' you are all stupid. simple as this... dragonforce is a studio band not a live band. they sound amazing in a recording room but live they just don't seem to live up to what they can edit in a studio. they are still fun to listen to live but the cd sounds much better than their live performances. im not saying they suck, but i'd prefer listening to a cd than goin to a show.

DragonForce: the worst live band ever. Proves? This video is a good one. And if it is not enough, just watch any other. They are all the same. Bad performances, wrong notes everywhere... a total mess. I think they overproduce their albums to the point theres no way to properly perform them live. Just my opinion.
