All you have to do to escape death is to recognize that you are an evil person, you deserve to go to Hell and Jesus is the only person that can save you from Hell. You must also believe that Jesus is God and that He died on the cross for your sins and He rose again to have power from the grave. Ask Him to forgive you from your sins too. Also you must follow all of the 10 Commandments. If you break a commandment ask God to forgive you.

But He rose from the dead to show us that He is God and has power over death

You know why Jesus touched the leper instead of just saying "be healed", because in that time leprosy was so feared that no one would come near a leper. In this was Jesus showed his love and compassion to the leper who probably hadn't been touched in years.
WHO CAN TAKE OUR SIN AWAY, WHO CAN MAKE US WHOLE AGAIN!! jesus can, what a humble god he came even after thousands of years of his rejection and after that he still was mocked and still is what god is who equal his love no man on earth could do this, if we where the creater why is their death and all this where is hope in man but he is the way the light !!!
