@WTFmoviecompany oh man no way FFXI was AWWWWWWSOME back in the day. Have you ever played it? Imagine FF with all the kool spells and summons and chocobos that you love except online with TONS of ppl and chicks that love ffxi and moogles and stuff. FFXI was the best MMO ever if you ask me. Takes a lot of skill to play and is very hard. The hugest most dangerous world you can imagine. Unfortunatly FFXIV is the worst FF or MMO ever. Sad.

No way man, this game was waaaaaay easier on the DS. Pretty much all new games are way more forgiving than older games, as a rule of thumb. Then again there are exceptions...

Sort of. FF4 became easier when it came to America, then easier again when it went back to Japan, and then harder when it came to America again on the DS.

And the DS version is a remake, not a port, so the difficulty has been adjusted too.

The main problem in the original FF3 NES version was the lack of save spots. So what did Nintendo do? They nerfed the best jobs and gave bosses double attacks.

I agree, I loved X and everything about it, so I was excited for X-2, but I found the gameplay far too repetetive and the storyline too boring. Easily the worst FF i've played but still far better than most RPG's

No, 2 wasn't the worst; it was just the most broken. The worst one has to be FF12. Name one other game where the main gameplay feature is to get rid of player input so you can jump right into the cutscenes that require a dictionary on hand most of the time?

That's what made it a bit special compared to other FF games. Its difference later made it through inspiring other FF themes not to mention the Saga themes with the skill method.

no boring as hell it was a terrible storyline and about as mature as anyothers, they ruined ivalice with it. look at FF tactics the original it did what 12 was doing but better they put to much into the how it looked i didnt even like the play style, for one thing chars that are forced to have specific fighting rules in a group are more realistic than everyone learning anything they feel like. it can also mean points were you have your team force chosen more interesting.
