Hi Bodhigitta, i tried to find the artist too, there are so many beautiful versions. i actually seen this beautiful documentary in Albuquerque N.M, i am part of the Drikung Kagyu Lineage i wish i knew the version they used in the full documentary. the song is a Mantra, the white Tara Mantra

I read an interview by garchen about making bricks and growing food in prison and being happy because some one got to eat or have a house even if it was not garchen personally. It is amazing that he could think those thoughts and stay alive there by, it really helped me see the way, and understand a lot of science and biology. If you had to go to prison garchen would be a great one for a cell mate.

What a great man,a true bodhisattva! It is interesting how such a horrible event like the Chinese Occupation of Tibet can bring so many great lamas to teach Dharma in the West. Garchen Rinpoche has compassion, the leaders of China don't. I wish I had Rinpoches power of compassion and forgiveness.

all who know Garchen Rinpoche, especially those fortunate and blessed to have met him in their life, i hope they realise just how blessed they are. i have no such auspicious luck. i live in two places in california, and the only reason i know of this holy Lama is because i have drikungpa friends all the way in florida. has this Rinpoche ever been to california to teach? does he ever come here?

my friend i drove from Sacramento to be here in a 87 camery you can make it if you truely wish just meet him once and he will be in your heart forever. Two he told me that if you see his prayer wheel spinning you will be reborn in the higher realms so let go and come here. 12 hours from Sacramento. YOu can meet him in NOvember when he comes back as for going to Cali i am sure he won't any time soon as i knowcurreenly he is over seas and this summer in Isreal one love one heart one union
