i bought one of these a few weeks ago, spent ages practicing hovering it in the living room, became very good at it. i took it to a carpark yesterday and crashed it into a wall and demolished it. i'll be spending the next few weeks pulling it down to individual parts, repairing which ones i can, and buying replacements for the bits i cannot fix. be warned that when you start moving it around, not just hovering, it's extremely difficult to bring it back to it's hover. R.I.P. my chopper
How the hell did you get it to hover so controlled in that small space?? I just got my Falcon 3d the other day, and tried to hover it in my living room, and no matter how much I trim it, it's still all over the place! I have CF blades, but didn't balance them - maybe that's why?
Hobby-Lobby has them on special right now, I got one a few days ago, and I have to say that for the price this is a heck of a great heli. It has nothing to envy to a T-Rex 450, yet it comes complete with 400 class brushless motor, ESC, gyro, 11.1V 1300 mAh Li-Po, training kit, blades holder, TX - First time in three months struggling with helis, I finally flew something.... Falcon 3D :)
No it's not unstable, I was tweaking the linkages for "too much throw" and it got twitchy. Set up stock it's extremely solid, even more so when the carbon blades are on it. Those are woodies in the video.
The parts support is good, and above that many parts from the trex and shogun fit.
Nice hover my u-tuber friend.

Do you mind telling me who you bought it from. There is one guy on ebay selling them but his feedback isn't that great. Thanks.

Is the Falcon that hard to control, or do you just need more practice?!
no offense - I was interested in this one, but if it's that unstable I'll look to a Trex or something..

is this really a good heli? its so cheap but has a brushless motor and a bunch of other stuff. and its the size of a trex
rchelifreak 5 years ago
I would recommend it. Flies great and like you said for the price with brushless and lipo it's an awesome deal RTF.
