I'm from New Orleans. I use to drive up from Buras every weekend to party with them...wow...20 +years ago.they all are super nice guys. Wish i hadnt lost contact w/ them!
I love this song and I love ZEBRA! It's so sad to me that they were pretty much left behind by Radio after the "Bears" Single, and crappy bands like Warrant, Poison, etc ruled the airwaves. ZEBRA, Y&T and Badlands were SO good, and aside from all-too-brief brief success for Zebra and Y&T, Badlands (feat Jake E Lee) were all but unnoticed. Anyway, I'll get off my Soapbox now lol. Does anyone here on YouTube have a good Tabulature Song transcription for this? I'd really appreciate it! -dave
I was fortunate and spoiled rotten to grow up on Long Island wih Zebra, The Good Rats, David Bromberg and others in their hay day. I was never a Twisted Sister fan....but cool that they were a local "Bar Band" back then.
But Zebra was / is by far my favorite! I still listen to them all the time. The Good Rats were a great party as well. A kick in the pants show was Zebra, the Good Rats, And twisted Sister all playing together to raise money for Zebras stolen equipment at a bar in Islip.
Do you or anyone else here in youtube land have a close up home made video of Randy Jackson playing the song TIME [from the 3.V album] on his 12 string? Live he usually plays it before they do "Who's behind the Door". I am trying to learn it and I am unsure of a few parts (as the song is in a funky tuning [GGDGBD]). If you have such a video, please, please post it. Thanks a zillion in advance!
I just joined facebook today. I want my first friends (in music and Time) to be Randy, Guy, and Felix. Think that you could be here today and never found the time to do what you want.
Agreed - Zebra never got the accolades they should have. They actually played at my high school in Louisiana when I was there (a long time ago). I knew Guy back in the 90's and he was a nice fella!
I have witnessed the awesome sounds of ZEBRA many many times life. Being from New Orleans myself its always special knowing the three guys making that awesome sound are part of a musical journey like no other band can offer. Only bad thing is the rest of the world has never really known how truly great they are togehter. Thanks Randy,Felix and Guy for all the great years of truly great music.
I saw Zebra back in 93 in San Antonio TX. Probably the greatest performance of any band I have ever seen. A power trio with the most tasteful sounds and stage presence. Randy had his doubleneck BC Rich on at the time. A gorgeous guitar. Zebra really should be more famous throughout the world.
AMO ZEBRA ♥ ♥

Is this some kind of composite. Twelve string and the Les Paul do he play them both?

The most underrated band and Randy can do both guitar and voice, Led Zeppelin is my favorite, and these men are as close as it gets to Led Zeppelin

I have a DV taping of it from around 2001. I taped it myself with my cam on a tripod about 10 feet away.
I purchased a Zune MP3 player last week and burned the Jackson show onto it. It from Orphan Annie's in NJ. AWESOME SHOW!
