dry sanding is the fastest way to sand a car.....but to achieve 100% results you must wet sand followin a higher grit of sand paper most people finish by hand.
@TheRelPrinceRedfield there are many factors that play into wet vs. dry sanding. One factor is factory vs. aftermarket paint...if we are talking factory paint, when one uses the correct dry papers the results are far superior then that of wet.
On high quality aftermarket paint jobs, I will wet sand but it has nothing to do with quality of papers and more to do with the temperature of the clear during sanding...thus we do go over to a wet system on high quality aftermarket paint jobs.
@Detailingsuccess with all do respect sir,a 100% best results are wet sanding following steps of sanding papers 2000 2500 3000 or 4000 but...is a long process and{ time consuming } but is the right way to achieve a professional results with a short compound time. wet sanding is a process that everybody avoid and hate,till this day there is not an accurate equiepment to do this process.keep in touch we will soon post a video about it. thank you very much

@TheRelPrinceRedfield will not agree with you on this one. While I am sure you have abilities, we are doing seeing amazing results with our dry system and we are eating up less healthy clear. Dry or wet is a needed tool within any successful detailing business.
