@0PrinceMusic It's not uncommon to play the G chord w/ the note fretted on the second string/3rd fret or 320022. That's how I play open G. It just sounds better IMHO. :) I've got a G chord lesson that I'm going to post this week on my channel.

People who teach this stuff should switch the video image horizontally. It's an easy video effect & would be very useful for beginners. Seeing a video of any guitar player is backwards. Like looking into a mirror. That's why you gotta correct it before upload..

The easy g chord is when you just mute the high e, just like in the beginners f chord.

Yeah it's a G Variation, you only need those 3 fingers not four for the normal G.

yeah the same thing for me.

im getting guitar lessons and they told us to put the middle finger on the sixth string,

on the third fret. and the index on the second fret on the 5th string and the pinky on the first string on the third fret.

i guess im going to have to believe my guitar lessons cuz expert village isnt really that great and is sometimes unaccurate
