about time this game is coming out soon. its to bad thay did not make this game for the Wii U or gamecube well mabay its bc thier not strong to handle this time.

Nintendo doesn't make GameCube games anymore and never will again.

It's not for the Wii U, because the Wii U won't release until very late 2012, and the gap between MP8 and MP9 is already really big.

And it's not for the GameCube, because it's like a decade old, and Nintendo hasn't made games for it for years.

Ok so this Captain Event is like Story mode/another multiplayer mode. I thought this was gonna be how the game plays from now on instead of one person moving alone.

No, Captain Events are like the Happening Spaces in previous Mario Party games.

The game will mostly be moving around in a car, but it is possible to get seperated from the car temporarily, sending you to a small area you'll have to get out of, like the volcano in Wii Party.
