I just watched both versions side by side, and holy shit.

this version, believe it or not. had to be sped up. there were times when they were in sync and then other times when the japanese version constantly when out of sync. especially at the end when he was saying the nations at an ungodly speed XD

And as an American, I hardly ever say "I'm from the United States", I mostly say "I'm from America". The reason that in alot of the foreign dubs of this song they say America, is because that is what most of the world calls it. The only reason the original version calls America the "United States" is because it was being SUPER literal about it.

In France for example U.S.A. is referred as Estat Unis and in in Spanish speaking countries U.S.A. is referred as Estados Unidos (United States) and an American is referred as Estado Unidense. If you are in say Mexico or Argentina and if you say Soy Americano then you are impliying to America as a continent..... If you want to say you're from the U.S. it's better to say Soy Estado Unidense
