Most are made by the wearers, and groups like the Cobra troops or the Caped Crusaders usually coordinate things, sometimes with group build sessions and fittings so that there isn't a 'walking junkpile' member in the group. Some cosplayers commission costume for some serious cash-ola, but I prefer to make my own costumes.

The Steampunks, gorgeous outfits, but man..you had to listen to them explain the outfits and blahblahblah you to hell before they would let you take a d#mn picture.Funny how not 1 mentioned the Steamboy book (by Murai/Otomo) as the obvious inspiration though.

Both insane asylum Joker and Nurse Joker were fabulous. What Nurse Joker lacked in make-up skills he made up for by staying in character.

omg the best guy i saw was a Captain Jack who Looked awesome yet played the part awesomely he ALWAYS walked around with his hands up to his chest and walking leaning back like Jack he was great
