Nice, but this looks very old defensive strategy. I'm pretty sure B2s and other strike-craft, missiles would destroy defense systems long before warships and carriers came in. Also, the Chinese navy isn't even close to technology of the USA, China is less modern than a 1985 Soviet Union. China's military is barely better than Iraq's military, which was COMPLETELY decimated in less than 2 weeks. China has no Air Force or Sea Forces that can compare to the US, they better off throwing rocks.

Their 5:th generation fighter jet is probably nowhere near as good as the F-22, but with internal bays, a stealthy design and a coat of radar reducing paint you have a ship that can penetrate advanced radar systems and deliver both precise and massive amounts of fire.

Surprise that china did not show their DF31 one shot one kill Anti Carrier Missile. War head comes in at over Mach 5. The CIWS will not be able to stop the incoming warhead from space. Plus the next generation high speed anti ship missiles will probably overwhelm the US Navy EWS. The Chinese diesel submarines are much quiter than the nuclear subs. They can sneak in very close to the Carriers and sink it with a torpedo.

Also, don't know where you're getting your "info" that the missiles will be coming from space, but if they were, I'm sure NATO's already is or has some countermeasure to it. Pretty sure also that the Americans have diesel subs of their own as well.

@Rocketeer1001 The missile shoots up into space, then rains down on the fleet. People watch Hollywood movies too much. The warhead will enter at Mach 5. There are currently no early warning system or anti missile system that can defeat an incoming warhead at that speed. Even without the the so call DF-21D carrier killer. The next generation anti ship missiles from China will be much faster. The new high speed missiles will overwhelm the US Navy EWS system. We haven't mention about torpedos yet.

Nice, but this looks very old defensive strategy. I'm pretty sure B2s and other strike-craft, missiles would destroy defense systems long before warships and carriers came in. Also, the Chinese navy isn't even close to technology of the USA, China is less modern than a 1985 Soviet Union. China's military is barely better than Iraq's military, which was COMPLETELY decimated in less than 2 weeks. China has no Air Force or Sea Forces that can compare to the US, they better off throwing rocks.

@kvmairforce Well the thing is, I used to have the same opinion, but after really accessing the Chinese military, you can clearly see that they're definitely a threat. Their 5:th generation fighter jet is probably nowhere near as good as the F-22, but with internal bays, a stealthy design and a coat of radar reducing paint you have a ship that can penetrate advanced radar systems and deliver both precise and massive amounts of fire.

Its easy to plan for certain operations. What you don't see are US based fighters, air control and satellite sensors as well as ship bourne weapons systems. The US can easily saturate China's defense systems with sub launched cruise missiles and long range bombers carrying stand off weapons.

The Australian Navy even steams through the formosa straight and they don't give a rats ass. What makes you think our ships don't go through? FEMA camps...you really believe that crap don't you? @edwardtang1977 They have 1 and its being rebuilt. Its an OLD soviet AC that's being renovated. Backed off Chinese oceans? We're constantly having Naval war games with allies in the area. Only allow Google Earth? Are you serious? You mean the satellite that can read a 3 inch letter from space? What do you think our satellites do look underground, inside bunkers, etc? Google Earth will do the same thing to spy as any other satellite.

@farlack12 it would have great political impact. It would force you to react. Imagine it stopping by Libya and you have to decide to shoot it or not. Chances are you wouldn't want a world war and you won't do anything about it. It would be a pain in your backside. How is that having no use? Carriers are for projecting power . They are sitting ducks in a war. In maritime they have great impact politically. China had no sea power so anything is a plus for them and a minus for you.

You said Google Earth a satellite that takes pictures is the only one allowed over China but the military satellites that take pictures are not. Makes ZERO sense because the military could just use Googles. NATO didn't run out of bombs you moron Germany supports the cause and they're taking some of the financial responsibilities of the mission.
