I have to say, if you want to be serious about your server, get a domain name. You can get a .com domain with email and all for about $1 a month. I personally use gandi . net but it's not too hard to find a good price on one elsewhere too. The domain is not hosting, it's just a pointer to the server so you don't have to try and remember the IP address.

@ZeekyFreaky123 Because when yu run a server on your computer it uses a lot of CPU usage and that is bad for your computer and also when you run a server on your computer you have to use your own ram but if you use all of it you wont be able to open anything on your computer. When you get a server you can have people donate and make your money back. I made $135 in 5 days from donators. Hope this helps :]

you shop system does not work :/ install doors so that the shopkeeper can control who comes in and goes. i got 64 ameros stolen and i could not get any back. took me along time to get 8 diamond! i was going to buy a plot but because of this system and a stupid thief i now have none. also the server does have lag and bugs.

optionally (proberbly prefered): a pentium E5700 (dual core 3.0 GHz (cheap cheap found it for 82 usd))

3-4 GB DDR2 upload 3-4 mbit

i run a server with these spec: Pentium 4 3.2GHz - 3 GB DDR (2,5 GB assigned to my server) - 320 GB hdd - 2,6 Mbit upload, 22Mbit download, when it lags, its due to the ram (no world size limiter)
