can anyone tell me how can i keep the sound of video but delete the video? i mean i want only sound of this video. plsssssss

@ti5ko Right click the audio and look for something that says Groups? I think? And then find something that says ungroup or something like that. This should separate the audio and video so you can delete them separately I think.

@IcechickenSr You just gotta zoom in enough on the timeline so it only movies 1/30th of a second each time... then move it 3 times.

@FlowDeBarrio2004 It could be the file type you are using, if Sony is not recognizing what your audio is rendered to as a compatible type. Try using a Program like FormatFactory (be careful, lots of imitations out there that are viruses), to convert it to a wmv standard type. Then try and import them to see if you have the same problem. If you do, I'd suggest reinstalling vegas.

I know my first vids BACK in the day (like 2-3 years ago) had no problems but since then my wmvs untreated have been outta sync... sometimes if it's not noticable it decieves u too... but if u follow the tutorial u can fix the problem usually.

i find this tutorial to be a bit sketchy, and its not b/c of anything you did its just the idea of the whole thing. This is like putting a patch of the problem, i want to fix the problem, like if i did this it would still be a bit off, i just dont want to do and haveto keep donig it, plus this isnt the actually FIX, i have contacted youtubed help forum so i will post back if/when i find the root cause to this problem.

If you followed the tutorial, the timing would not "still be a bit off", it would probably be in sync. I don't get why it's sketchy, it's just a solution to a problem. Getting corporations to fix problems just isn't as efficient as finding a way to fix it yourself if you can, imo.

OK well here is the link I fixed it, BUT! I didn't do this I had tried to switch the kbps for the audio and make the size of the video the smallest but IN HD I couldnt, so what I did was render it as HQ and go to WMM and make it in hd So it had a link to be in HD! I believe there are alot of bugs in HD that mess up the audio sync.

I do it so that I can move things around easily if I need to (such as the audio in this example for the better synching) and so that when i render it, the video doesn't start playing right away... if you press play even on this video, you'll see it doesn't start playing until 1 second in... prevents any of those dumb playback glitches YouTube does when at the start/end of videos.
