I originally produced Smasher for my third album "Focus". I decided to cut at the last minute because I really didn't think the lyrics I had would have done it justice. Since that album i've tried several times to write for it but consistantly came to the conclusion that spoke more as an instrumental and should remain that way, so it sat on the "metaphorical shelf" for a several years.
