I remember reading an article where ?uest was telling the story about when Dils was talking about Madlib (actually the story was about the "Little Brother" track), and how he was the only other producer in the game who made Dils "sweat". I'm sure they influenced each other. But, if you think Dilla wasn't making dope beats before Mad, and that he would have continued to make dope beats had he not met Mad, you're seriously mistaken.
