Basically what they do is instead of coming up with new ideas they just copy and paste the same story, the same characters and the same plot but with different names! That's actually a brief summery of the Gundam franchise. If you've seen one you've seen um all, there all the same, they never do anything new. It's always gonna be about said emo git that gets a giant robot climaxing with a big super laser death star rip off for a last episode! In fact Gundam is Japanese for unoriginal!

If you want to watch a good Gundam watch the Original not the Rehashes! the first one was the only time they got it right and the rest of the time they left their brains off and just did what ever the heck they wanted and didn't care if it made any sense! So I would recommend Gundam 1979 and G Gundam!

Seed Destiny, oh my god, can you possibly throw more flashback scenes into one anime? I still don't know how did I managed to sit through the whole series. I must have been drunk all the time.

As(s) to other good gundams, Wing isn't that bad, 00 is kinda good, G Gundam is awesome (SPOILARZ - I like the moment when Master Asia is too weak to cast his special technique, yet he pushes a freakin' skyscrapter into the sky. HOLY SHIT.)

I liked Wing too! My only problem with it was that there was no story! It was just a 50 Ep tech demo! What I like about Gundam 1979 was that there were wins, lose and actually stakes involve! The story actually felt like a real war! Zeta was like Wing, it was a lot of pretty images but no story! And it started the main villains are bad because the main characters say so thing! Kamile's motivation to join a anti government movement was because some guy called him a girl? Give me a fucking brake!

That's taken out of context. That was the lead-up to how he got involved with the AEUG, he wanted to fight against the Titans because his parents were both killed by the Titans, and then his other friends and lovers were all killed one by one because of them.

Seed is a rehashed story of 0079, with Destiny as a crappier version of Zeta. But this video is damn well the best thing I've seen all day. Thank you. :)

Still you have to admit that Zeta did suffer from ducktalesgummibearninjaturtles­itis in that the evil federation was evil because the main characters say that they're evil. Unlike Zeon in 1979 Gundam who actually did commit heinous acts like smashing space colonies into earth.

True, however we don't learn these things until much later in the show! Unlike in the original Gundam were we got that little intro that told us about the war what it was over and what Zeon had done. So you can understand that(and this is more of a problem with how Zeta was written) When people first saw it and saw Kamile go off and join an organization that we the audience knew nothing about after someone called him a girl most people rolled there eyes and turned it off.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Zeta was a bad show far from it! I liked zeta, and much like wing I think if they could have ironed out a few bugs in the story it could have been great! having the earth federation get taken over by evil usurpers is a great idea but it doesn't get fully developed. It's kinda like macross it had great potential but nothing gets fully developed, except for that god awful love story.
