  • It's the TRUTH!

  • thks for posting the video.i am a singaporean and you can never see this type of scenes in our state controlled media.this is so true of our situation in my country and i hope this dictator called lee kuan yew stop his heartless policy.

  • I am not Singaporean but I have seen it and it is terrible.

This is one of the worst elite/money based society in the world with no freedom for local/poor people. Government control soooo much and some of my friend said "it is hidden n.korea".

Give back money to locals and community!!!!!

    World is watching YOU!!!

  • @rutilequartzlight Despite all that is said, it is a known fact that poverty can never be totally eradicated, although we can strive to work towards that goal. Do you seriously think that it is just a simple matter of taking the money from the top and just blindly distributed to the bottom? That's the communism idea, and we consider ourselves to be semi- democratic society, so that can't be done! Of course there are also donation and stuffs, but to govern a country takes more than that!

  • @rutilequartzlight Besides, of course it doesn't work when you compared the highest spectrum with the lowest, because generally the world's economic system is wired in such a way that those who contributed more, earn more! Not just Singapore!

  • @rutilequartzlight Furthermore, our gov. have to help Singapore as a whole, which means taking into consideration the needs of the bulk of the middle class people to tide over the financial crisis, and we have successfully reduce the unemployment rate! We ARE giving back to the poor, so don't just see Singapore in a single perspective, pls consider the various factor the gov have to juggle before making judgement!

  • @teshuchuan

I did not make comments in a single perspectives. I have many Singaporean friends and I also talk and monitor how maid, taxi drivers, security guards, cleaners, construction workers, teachers and those non elites worker are treated. I see many discrimination, irresponsible and dis respectable situation many times which I never seen in other countries. I think this discrimination or value are implemented by government and people are just obey very quietly and struggling life.

  • @rutilequartzlight

And I think this is very sad to watch every single day.

For example, many developed country has

FREE Toy library for each community

FREE extensive play ground which you will pay here on half or less size

FREE children's play house and study/education building for each community which they charge hours in this country

Volunteer/Government == FREE based childcare for community for busy family FREE community bus for elderly

FREE medical for 0-15 years old and elders etc...

  • @rutilequartzlight

Further, this is only country I ever saw people just go to have a meal at IKEA.

It is quite shocking truth and it is telling how local is missing the standard of living considering how many highly paid individuals are exist here.

I am expat and living in Condo when I go to HDB to friends house I do really feel sorry. I never had this feeling in other country since local usually have BETTER house condition than short stay expats.

I hate this difference and it is wrong.

  • Even though his LHL pay is exaggerated, 10k per day is over-exaggerating his exaggerated pay

  • LKY : '' oh wait i take back my offer.... $3k i can hire 6chinese women to clean 6 toliets...''

  • Give you $3k a monthly salary you want to work as toliet cleaner ?

  • I know one thing.

After spending 16 ( out of my life's total of 18 ) overseas holidays in Singapore I may never visit again. The PAP will never admit that the retirement entitlements can't be cashed in because the money is simply not there any more. It has become nothing more than a legal Ponzi Scheme. The country is pretty but it's a fragile veneer. I am pissed off because I loved visiting there.

There are much worse countries but Singapore should be the BEST.

  • @TERMALERT maybe lost in all sorts of temasek holdings god knows how many fucked up investments?

  • Yeah, Singapore is perfect --no jury trials. The idiots bought into the USSA's drug prohibition even though they get nothing from it, except slavery. The poor women the cartels use as drug mules get sentenced to death (because there's no jury trial there, to at least weaken the ugliness of the immoral and stupid prohibition), and the fat rich cartelists created by the prohibition laugh. You have to be an idiot to believe a government without jury trials is perfect.

  • Seriously, Singapore is not that bad compared to Malaysia. You should come and stay in Malaysia for one year. Then you'll say Singapore is a haven.

  • ya ya GO TO MALAYSIA NEVER HAVE FINE , YOU CAN EAT ANYWHERE , DONT PAY A FINE .

  • VISITORS, FOREIGNERS, TRAVELLERS

STAY AWAY FROM SINGAPORE. THIS IS STILL A THIRD WORLD POLICE STATE WHEREBY THE DICTATORIAL REGIME RULES WITH TORTURE, FEAR, AND DEATH. IT IS A PLACE WHERE JOURNALISTS/AUTHORS (BRIT ALAN SHADRAKE) ARE PERSECUTED. THESE TYRANTS SHOULD HAVE UN SANCTIONS PLACED AGAINST THEM FOR THE CRIMES THEY HAVE AND STILL COMMIT.

    GO ELSEWHERE IN ASIA.

  • the government must have a sense of gratitude to these people they serve the country before until now, they must be enjoying the rest of their lives now.

  • Actually the high taxes is what keeps 'most' SIngaporeans housed. Yes, nothing is fair, but for the majority of Singaporeans there is at least housing, an element integral to physical and emotional stability.

  • what's this show on 0:10?

  • 谁当政都会有人吃不饱饭。新加坡需要不同声音。但是通过这个片中这点去攻击领导人真的很幼稚。

  • I have noticed that the disgruntled, those who can't keep their jobs, the flawed personalities are the ones that make the most noise and its so easy to blame the govt. Without foreigners, who will be in retail/healthcare and call centre etc. You ? Lets be honest, to some degree, we need them. Lets not pretend to be dumb. There is always another option, leave if you can't take the heat, go elsewhere and be someone's else's problem!

  • @maryannewee haha not true. This 2011 election showed the riches are voting opposition. Look at joo chiat, east coast(loyang, changi, tanah merah), aljunied(serangoon) on east side. Almost all the landed property voted opposition, can say 70% of landed property voted opp at least. Most of the HDB dwellers(middle class consist of majority of electorate) voted PAP because of $800 growth and share. So u are saying those well off people are having hard time keeping jobs, harder than HDB dwellers?

  • @Makpuki99 ... Shame on you for your Username!!! Do find out the exact meaning before you shame your Country, your Home, lah!!! Don't even has the due respect for the one who had given birth to you ... Arghhh ...

  • ""I will make him crawl on his bended knees, and beg for mercy."

    -Lee Kuan Yew.

SINGAPOEANS SHOULD AND WILL STILL SEEK JUSTICE FOR ALL ACCOUNTABILITY & WRONG-DOINGS AGAINST YEW EVEN AFTER HE (YEW) RETIRES OR QUITS FROM POLITICS! PAY BACK TIME!

  • 疯狂独裁者的死亡 !新加坡人的自由 !

  • If we Singaporeans have freedom of speech like US, we can speak-up for our rights.

  • The idea of "protectionism" does not include the idea of minimal wage system. We can sit down and talk over pros-cons of MWS, but I first have to let you see the problem in influx of FT. If you think "there's been a little too much foreigners coming in...", be prepared for another 1.5 mil more in 10 years time.

Just how much % of FT do you think we'll lose our identity as SGreans? 70%? 85%? 90% perhaps? The current FT is at 40.7%. Adding 1.5 mil more roughly guages to 63% at least.

  • @xoxohil LKY is admirer of PRC citizens, saying they are hardworking. It fits into his GDP growth first analogy, because that translates to more tax. Its in his interest to take in unlimited PRC citizens since the nation reservers are his. The old sg citizens saw through this of course and he wants them to leave so he won't lose votes. Old dummies are useless now, bring in new ones to vote and slave for gov. All the intelligent people had already left.

  • You have to look at more countries with experiences in handling GDP and growth issues. Saying "GDP means everything" means you have not understood why some of the core economies in the world are facing problems long-run/short-run.

I'm not going to deny working hard/better qualified certifications will get you a better position in the industry. But I must tell you I hear voices in recruitment here, Masters in local degrees(FT) are asking for 2.5k sgd. I hope you must clearly see the problem

  • All this talk about Foreign Talent when they can't speak proper english, this is absolute garbage. The ones that is important is the building constructors, the rest send back to their country. The Hospitals need Singaporeans,so do many more in the service line.

  • @teeheez95 PAP always emphasis "Foreign talents are only taking jobs that Singaporeans don't want.". Wake up already. PLENTY of FT have decent well paying jobs that do not require any NS obligation (reservists days). Even when we talk of manufacturing/construction jobs,

You want to work for $900/month when 10/20 years ago your fathers work for $1200 equivalent job? It's no longer "Singaporeans don't want the job", they can't afford it. They may pay more just to hold onto the jobs (food etc).

  • @xoxohil Plus cost of living has risen many times that of our fathers'.

  • @teeheez95 You have not done your research before stating these. Search for Hongkong policies on how they are dealing with mainland China. Denmark policies on foreign labour requirements.

The very reason we are so lax on FT requirements because our leaders wants investors to come in (the more the merrier). They think higher GDP means EVERYTHING. God knows how much remittance and wealth transfer are we sending back to others every month. Find another country which employs foreign maids as much.

  • No govt. in the world can satisfy 100% of its population 100% of the time. So long as it serves a majority of the population I think the govt is doing fine. Maybe this time some of PAPs policies have gone too far and have caused concerns at large. Poverty exist even in developed countries eg the homeless in tokyo is well documented and sometimes personal in nature. In fact

Posting a video like this is by itself shameful and most probably by a loser left behind in the cracks.

  • yes it is true that wages are kept low so MNCs can proliferate into SG and setup shop here and employ even more lower wage workers. it's PAPA strategy and its typical of what most greedy Corporations yearn for.

  • no matter what your views you want this video to present. You should not have misrepresented the flag in an upside down manner. this is unacceptable.

  • Spore eduation system is torted to be the best, yet after paying so much for it & producing scholars,we allows our SMRT to be runned by a Malaysian CEO who came from Duty Free Shop. The 55yr Malaysian woman is now laughing her way to the bank to collect her $1.8 million pay,in her new Ferrari. What happened to our Scholars

  • If we speak up, we'll be thrown in jail. If we don't, we'll suffer. Freedom of speech = I don't think so. It's sad>

  • @doranazz I agree! Not so easy asking pple to speak up, who wants to end up in jail? But there is a legal way to speak up - in your votes come may 7th!

  • China is full of trash like renjie1989. Trash overflowing to the rest of the world.

  • We need talents, not trash

  • @renjie1989 - Shut ur farkin mouth. China fark talks without brains. This is ur facebook right?

  • @renjie1989 Not all foreigners who come here get a low pay. Filipinos and Malaysians are paid much higher than in their own country due to the stronger currency. And when you say that you have to pay so much for a home, remember that some of these expatriates have full housing subsidy and stay in much better homes than the average Singaporean. For foreigners who are non-expat, what they are paid should also be sufficient for them to want to stay here.

  • @servicecoupon it's a tough decision. PAP has done well in some aspect, and they have also fucked it up really badly in others. The GRC system also makes it difficult for me to vote. I don't like the whole team, so who do I vote for?

  • @renjie1989 You fucker from Innova JC, what a disgrace for IJC. If you ever studied Economics you should very well know that foreign labors are cheaper than locals, hence the favoring of foreign labor over local labor. You are a fucking disgrace to IJC. Which year were you from? 2006? Must be. Because the results of the batch of IJC students from 2005-2006 were outstandingly lousy. Even Project Work also got so many C's and D's in 2006. My god.....People like you are dregs of society

  • @renjie1989 Nabeh. Some more you from Rasalas ah? Fuck you man. Don't ever visit IJC. You'll affect the rest of the people studying there. Just don't spread the infections

  • @polarspirit lol. post removed. FUCK PAP =)

  • PAP has no answers to the current situation, obviously they are pushing the ball around and manipulating the public by collaborating with the media ( you know who )

  • I quote Edmund Bruke...."The only thing necessary for evil to flourish, is too few good man to speak up" When things are wrong with mass impact we should speak up. thats the only way to stop wrong decision to strike negative impact. GE VOTING IS A MEANS FOR US SINGAPOREANS TO SPEAK UP. WE ALL WANT THE BEST FOR OUR COUNTRY AND COUNTRY MAN. WE WANT LEADERS WHO REALLY UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF "WE THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE" and those regrets not going to universal studios or 600k peanuts.

  • even robin hood have a chance to fight. but not here.

  • Singapore is fucked on many levels.

  • @MaxiMax09 First of all, no - I'm not one of those who think 600k is peanuts. I'm still studying.

One case study: Recession 2007-2009. How did the government respond?

US & other countries - Bail companies out.

SG - Let the companies go bankrupt - Instead, they provide trainings to further improve the skills of people. (They used the reserved cash to hold such programs)

Similarly, the government is doing all it can; edusave, medisave, CPF

Do people in China, Malaysia, etc. get that? Doubt so.

  • Dnt feel sense of belonging here....I feel like an alien...

  • @MaxiMax09

I don't understand what's wrong with that. If you compare Singapore and America, both are doing well - and Singapore is smaller than America. The ministers' earnings of 3 mil/yr as you stated does not really affect the people. It's not as if they're taking all the money away - SG GNI per capita is pretty high compared to SEA countries.

Just my opinion: those who complain about this are those who are financially-troubled and are just looking for someone to make a scapegoat of.

  • @Zenoniel You should realise that rising costs are affecting people and families in both the middle and lower class income groups. I know someone who has to work 2 jobs just to keep he food on the table for his family. I know a taxi driver who does not dare think about retirement, and the CPF from his past jobs, mostly put into housing, and yet has 2 sons who have a long way to go in their education. The same thing has been going on for my family while our ministers earn millions. Just think.

  • @recon0089 So how does the ministers earning lesser money benefit the mid/low class? From a million bucks to 500 thousand; what do you expect to see? An increase in people's salary?

I feel the same way as you, sympathetic - but still, you don't expect these people to earn tons of cash overnight.

The government is doing all they can to provide for the people and it's ideology is great (self-responsibilty rather than relying on government) - edusave, medisave, etc. Better than most countries.

  • @Zenoniel

At least it can be distributed more to low/ mid income earners.

A government is for people, not for themselves. you want a north Korean style government where the top are the only fat people?

  • @zhen86 North Korea system of governance is communism. Everyone is equal in their width size. Simple. Reward for work; work for reward. There is a reason why some people earns more than the other - it's what they do that determines their pay. The amount the low/mid income group earns is definitely higher than that of other Asian countries.

Anyway, a question... What are the Singapore Ministers doing with their money anyway?

  • @Zenoniel

same as any "ordinary" rich people.

And i ask you what they did to deserve such high pay compare to other countries as Singapore is small?

They say they expect 30% increase in wages at everyone incomes, so they up themselves 30%.reality? only a few get 30% raise.and you don't need me to say who the few are

  • What do you expect the government to do? Hold up a charity booth and give away tens and thousands of dollars to these less fortunate people for no reason at all? They were probably responsible for their situation right now; why didn't they ace their education? Why don't they work? You can't expect a cleaner to earn a 5 digit income.

If it wasn't for these foreign workers, we will not have people doing the "dirty jobs". Without foreigners, including MNCs, Singapore can't survive.

  • People. Remember the case on " One Billion is peanut?". Well, it says pretty much about poverty in Singapore. Think about it, it makes a lot of sense and really stir up anger in people's hearts, including mine. Anger towards who? That's up to you to decide

  • Hahaha... I just want to see u brainless arrogant n naive guys knockin down ur pap, maybe a spore run by worker party.. Hahaha .. So yo workers ! pls do come to JB to beg for food ya ;)

  • Sohai video... retard...

  • Come her don't even need to serve NS and steal everything even bus seat also

  • @Blasting987 Steal? Foreigners work and pay taxes. How is something stealing if you pay for it? Singaporeans travel out of Singapore; why don't you let foreigners in? Doubt you'll want to see your fellow countrymen be discriminated in other countries.

  • @Zenoniel

Foreigners work and pay taxes. who benefit? the government./other countries treat other foreigner as 2nd class, while here they are treated 1st class compare to Singaporean.BEING A PR is better than being Singaporean.

  • @zhen86 You're going off topic. The argument is about foreigners stealing.I've clearly shown otherwise.

Describe how foreigners are treated as first class in Singapore. Tell me how Singaporeans treat workers from Bangladesh and China -Giggling behind their backs. First class? Pfft.Even these foreigners are doing something that benefits you- HDBs, Garbage collecting, etc.- and they even pay taxes. They are stealing? Yeah... sure..

How is being PR better? PRs don't have edusave. THEY HAVE TO GO NS.

  • About NS, only 2nd generation need.if your male child is PR, you can revoke it and you can still retain your PR.PR can also buy HDB, and they can buy and sell and buy a big land in their country with the money earned. When you start working, you will know many FTs is also doing same jobs as you not just Garbage collecting, dirty jobs that government claims. The place that i am in internship last time, has a 26 year old guy from Indonesia that never do NS,even thought he is a PR

  • proof?

  • 李门酒肉臭,路有冻死骨。如今人民行动党腐败,我们必须做出正确的选着。来吧,新加坡人,我们是时候做出正确的选着,是时候改变了!

  • Many commented abt increasing eurasians and other races. LeeHL make Double Barrel race so as to convert all of them to Chinese. From experience, my friend Choy changed job becos ppl teased him of related to a dark skin co-worker Sam Choi (not real name). In future, Muthus become Tans, Lims, Gohs,Lees, Mahs, etc. And your son ask you "Pop, why is your brother so dark?"

  • Hey, Singaporeans, Wake Up! This is a PAPE not a GE, You get to choose which existing PAP MPS or let them walk over. Dont be mistaken that theres is going to be a GE 2011. PAP are laughing at the stupid Singaporeans. Until such time Sgrn come out to stand as oppositions, theres no opps to fight them.

  • Hey, Singaporeans, Wake Up! This is a PAPE not a GE, You get to choose which existing PAP MPS or let them walk over. Dont be mistaken that theres is going to be a GE 2011. The Lees and gangs are probably laughing at the Singaporeans. Until such time you save your blood money and come out to stand as oppositions, theres no opposition to fight them. You all know maths dont you? How many opp r there? And so many Singapodas, all cowards and left country. (poda means fucked off')

  • why are there people like lee hsien loong and those portrayed in your video? because people like lee hsien loong worked their asses off in their educational years thus deserved entrance into Cambridge, thus he earns what he earns. Okay fine, 'he got into cambridge because his daddy went there', well thats because Kuan Yew worked HIS ass off before cambridge, and worked even harder to send Hsien loong there.

  • Do you think the people portrayed in your video would still be where they were if they had not messed around in high school? NO I DON’T. “education is the passport to your fckin future’

  • need i remind you that taxes in europe can be more than 40% for some citizens especially in Finland where they are still so happy? 3% to 7% only still want to complain complain complain. if you want to criticize governments, criticize the North Korean one. Europe's bankrupt now. But are we? No. So why you complain when our growth was recently the world's fastest? Don't you want a progressive country for your children? the PAP had already ensured your children a sustainable future

  • @bashibazouks77 You do know about the benefits of paying taxes in foreign countries right?

  • 55 people prefer to be ripped off.

  • wtf is this?

  • I live in a country where we have social welfare and state pensions. Children still go hungry and people beg. People make their own choices and calculate their own risks, there is no accounting for human stupidity.

  • It's not unheard of irresponsible parents who've left their children to commit adulteries, and children left to suffer with no food, education and love. That's even sadder.

  • And , of course, there are the ungrateful and unfilial children we've heard about who have abandoned their parents for their own selfish greedy personal gains.

  • Comment removed

  • You asked where did all our CPF money go? Well, Batam of course.

  • Truth is these poor people don't want any help. They reject help when its given.

  • maybe the helpless one could blame their child i surpose... for abandon their beloved, they are the real villain here. And i m not saying GST is rite but it is necessary for the future. also for the aid of fountain, school and hospital which helps alot of people including yourself.

  • this is such a one-sided view.

tell me which investment fund didnt lose money when the market crashed.

if we banned all foreign labour from coming in, would we be fine with the increase in cost? would we be happy eating chicken rice which cost $5 a place at hawker centres? even buying a flat would be more expensive without foreign workers. we complain when things get too expensive, we complain when government trying to help us reduce cost.

  • this is such a one-sided view.

  • @bowdowntoslei

the thing is they are saying ALL foreign workers are doing jobs we DON't want. Do u agree? i certainly do not

  • @zhen86, I fully AGREE, the papayas are good in words and create disturbing comments now and then..remember the WKS, did not resign for the escape of the terrorist? And still have the cheeks to talk about OP creating legacy in coming elections? In the first place, GRC is the joke of the world !! Papayas should drop the GRC and return true democracy the Singaporeans.to vote who should be in/ out the parliament, those shaking legs inside DO NOT represent all SIngaporeans..

  • @zhen86 Exactly. Foreigners HAPPEN to take us quite a hefty percentage of executive workers. WHICH SINGAPOREAN DOESNT WANT A HIGH PAYING JOB? The lady at McDonalds? i don't think so.

  • mslompang...it's not singapore...it should be SINGAPORKK...yaaccckkkkk...!!!

  • singapore?? ewwwwwwwwwwww........

  • @MsLompang ....it's not singapore..it should be SINGAPORKKK...yaaccckkkkk...!!!!

  • @scacdelmas LMAO! Singaporn would be nicer

  • Wherever Singaporeans are, we'll always think SINGAPORE because we are born in Singapore and proud to be called SINGAPOREANS. In a global working world today with cable live news, virtually everything is up to the min. The poor are well looked after and in education, no one is left behind. An old folk wandering in the streets is one abandoned by unfilial children. One has to be there to speak to the local community to discover more. Political stability comes before economic success anywhere.

  • Sure hope you got the legal rights to have such a thing up am taken to the next level

  • If I was OLIVER FRICKER- When they were through Beating me and untied me-

I would Not shake the hand of the man that abused me--I would walk over to him and look him straight in the eyes and - -SPIT RIGHT IN HIS DIRTY FACE!!!

That is how you treat a sadist from thrid world countries, like Singapore, that abuses other men. If I had to receive additional beatings,,my spit still will have been well worth it!

  • I don't think we should enitrely listen to this video maker too. I suspect he too wants power. What makes us think that by voting the PAP (who loves power) out will make our lives better? The other party we vote in will also yearn for power and might be more greedy. Won't we land ourselves in more trouble then? Maybe if Singapore fell to the C*****s, we would all be praising our the leader and singing his propaganda songs, and wouldn't be complaining about all these..

  • tatz tru.. speak up!! salute u...

  • ...most of the poor people are old folks in Singapore. It is also happening in many countries but most governments take a blind eye on the increasing "Baby boomer's" on the streets. If the phenomenon is not addressed properly, the world will face a global problem in years to come.

  • Ok, then why not you feed them?

  • Le kua simi ?

    Built Mendaki for Dakies .

    Give Kopi-O Kosong Promises .

Some Muslim Malays worked against the Muslim Malays .

Think we dont know ah , some of you spies go into Mosques and masquerade as worshipping individuals but are ninjas in friday prayers disguises . Under cover crack jobs . So scared . Go worship internet lor .

This is nothing new lor .

Accept Christ as your Lord and Savior. Forget the dakies and their spies. You will survive . Faith will and shall set you free lor .

  • @MDIS Jesus is a messenger of god. He has never said that he is god. Christianity is a religion that has the truth changed by people.

  • Ok lor , either we migrate but when we migrate they still chase after our backsides. So no different lor where we go.

I have also seen many poor and innocent muslim malays who being left out and side tracked. And the more self progressed so-called muslim malays are not doing anything much.

If muslim malays have so many problems , such as teen pregnancies , divorce rates , not schooling , poor families , why not provide them channels whereby they can go to instead of kosong promises.

  • The ( MENDAKI ) dakies ( dead skin cells ) are keeping down the muslim malay communities from progressing. Many muslim malays are being directed to work as security guards , cleaners and washers when they clearly have the qualifications or experience in the field.

Unless we change our so-called Arabic names to Biblical names such give examples ( Harun to Aaron ) , ( Ibrahim to Abraham ) and drop our faith are we able to succeed.

Glory be to Christ. Let the malays not loose hope. AMEN

  • Well historically speaking , for them in the earlier years , who supported them and elevated them to a status of high degree/s of importance before the state of independence? The Malays.

Who were the ones being inducted into British Military , Police & Fire Fighting , fought the Nihonjin ( Japanese ) Soldiers and died bravely? Still the Malays.

But i find it ironic - The Mendaki does nothing to help elevate the status of the Malays in Singapore and yet say - Ooh THEY represent MALAY ??

  • The Mendaki organisation have too many dakies ( dead skin ) micro-organism polluting the air with their so-called - help given to those looking for jobs in fine fine singapore.

Cleaners , dish washers , security guards are the only viable job markets they will sell and in the end - we are being paid peanuts and when some complain - ooh we are doing our very best - bull shit.

You dakies are the worst hypocrites ever created. What have Yusoff Ishak ever done for the Malay Population? Na-dah

  • WTF!!! always complaining but when comes another new election all you cowards still vote for those bastards.you are all just herds of animals to them because - the lees FUCK U.

  • @fonezoneman

I think if you dont vote for the " men in white " - then you will be outcasted in the singapore societal economic and progression structures. True , no balls.

  • bankers have been paid up to 7 millions , CEO also paid in millions , so PAP leaders to paid in peanuts? they govern the whole country with solid end results with so many first in sea, air, bank, airlines, still not worth? They are worth much much more for their great forsight and those who disagreed , well , go and fuck the spider as you are really a devil in disguise and nothing in this world will satisfy you, only you yourself is the best ! another idiot dreamer

  • @jacky777able

We will see how singapore fare in the next 25 to 50 years .

If our electrical , water , gas and resources all go up , will your meager pay be enough for you to survive? Or are you tell us all to bath one a month like in World War 2 ?

When we have too many universities graduates who are not even earning much , much less if we have those who are from Institute of Technical Education Colleges or even Polytechnics graduates.

    Be realistic. Look at China.

  • @jacky777able Now, you wouldn't want wendyneo caned, now would you??

  • The international community condemns Singapore for sentencing a swiss man, or anyone else for that matter, to MANDATORY FLOGGING for unauthorized spray painting a train car, The more serious charge of trespassing carried no such penalty. This country is obsessed with beating males (ONLY MALES CAN BE BEATEN) females are exempt. This is cruel and inhumae treatment. There will be international consequnces should he be tortured!!

  • NIce one!

  • so many of these videos goes around....and just like the others this too is also dishonest. SG do have a program for the "poor" -however u want to define it. But again, this is not of journalistic value. just another expressing rants.

  • Wow this short clip really woke me up at 250am in the morning!

  • comon use your brain when posting this video.... If there is rich people, there will bound to have poor people.... if everyone is the same, we will be people's republic of Singapore.... there is no perfect government.... you are just anti PAP.

  • @SG09081965 it's just fucking pathetic that YOU can't use YOUR BRAIN. You can't look below the surface and is simply a simpleton. Are you from the SAF? U don't have the sophistication and is just too plain dumb to see through the smokescreens that the bastard lee kuan yew and his PAP has put in place to fool YOU into becoming a slave for the ruling party. Yeah and I'm singaporean, unfortunately.

  • The real Singapore shame is the human rights abuses comitted for over 50 years by the Dictator and PAP - and gotten away with it. The government rules with fear. Citizens threatened with brutal torture (caning) and mandatory death penalty is disgusting to the rest of the civilzed world. People have sacrificed their freedoms, all media is censored and the internet will be censored if it isn't already. There is no jury trials, and any opposition is effectively silenced.

  • @sandye2100 In the name of economic prosperity and progress. and yet many people are still left out of this prosperity. protest also cannot protest, because you have to apply for permission to protest.

  • @mineowyn

True , no protest also must go indoors - just like what Hossan Leong sang.

Must have permissions for almost everything - no wonder when i see younger Singaporean Students Overseas are partying like wild animals , getting drunk everywhere and getting pregnant whilst studying in United States , United Kingdom and ( our best neighbour )_Australia.

  • @sandye2100

No wonder some Singaporeans decided to stay in London , England , Holland , Europe or Aussie-land.

  • @MDIS It is true. The government really has complete control over its citizens. They have to be classified as slaves (and I don't care whether they make good money or not) they are still slaves. As this government continues committing atrocities more and more will emigrate. I am using the internet, with many others, to alert europeans DONT COME HERE. DON'T TRAVEL HERE.

  • @MDIS

Yes and if the trend with this sadistic government continues more and more Singaporeans will emigrate elsewhere.

  • haha come on guys. the username speaks for itself. sg politics.

  • hahaha! what can we do when there are already help given and these 'poor and homelss' guys chose to live in the streets? there are help in fact.. its just that these poor and homeless just dont wanna search for that kind of help.. and that is what I see here in singapore.. i can see pap is effective when handling problems that rises.. so.. yeah.. by the way, if the ministers are paid lowly, there will be corruptions..

  • These people are normally senior citizens and sometimes it's their children who abandoned them, the others are of working age but lazing around.

Singaporeans' life can be improved if they set their sights a bit lower, not all hardworking people have a uni cert or a even a PSLE cert, but even though they are willing to work, some employers may not want to hire because of low education.

  • haha would be very very difficult to bring pap down, they are our fathers, they brought us up. Would a child so easily disown his/her own father? We are afraid of them that they will not put food on our tables for the majority of us. There are so many jobs for those homeless, number they can start working as cleaners but why don't they? after that get some wages go rent a house. WHY DONT THEY? singaporeans want more wages but they dont have the certs to do so.

  • Has everyone forgotten how Mr Lee turned this country from a small little shit stain on the map to a first world nation despite the fact that it doesn't have any natural resources to speak of?

  • @Carmelaxx1xx

Is he a one man show? Wat about our own forefathers who slogged it out day and night with their blood, sweat and tears to build Singapore to wat it is today? Not to mention the other politicians whom LKY couldn't do without? I guess everyone has forgotten about that, it's always LKY who has to take the credit, LKY is the founding father of Singapore..the rest r forgotten, wat a load of bull..

  • @Destroyer470

I can name you a few, not just 1; Hong Kong, Japan, France, US of A...

  • New york is far from a country and it reeks with homeless and poor people, so does america.

  • to get foreigner r cheaper .. so singaporean has to fight with their existence n pays while our economic has pushes our living standard too fast of a phase... we should have our right n assistance as a decendent of our family who helped to built singapore to what it is now ...

  • Ah.. When's the next election?

Lol.. Dunno what gimmicks will come out this time

  • They are the Emporer of Singapore... That is what you get when your same goverment has been rulling for 45 years. They are the goverment and Emporer.. No one can touch them... not even the police... because they also own the chief of police and high justice.... Well done Lee Kuan Yew.... When you die.. yake all your money into your graveyard along with you so that you can buy Hell....

  • Wow.. I didn't know so many people are brainwashed that much to think that we're actually living in prosperity.. you guys are morons..

  • @damienhe:Prosperity is given to the rich.T

  • @damienhe They will think that way because ALL the mainstream media is owned and controlled by the government.

  • Have singaporean ever wonder why old man don't want to become president?

To be qualified to be elected President, a person must satisfy the following requirements, one of them is He must not be subject to holding an office of profit.

  • wa... SO many Boot Lickers AND Three Legged PPl Around SIA...

  • btw u need to readmore bout ur singaporean history and development... amazing litte island

  • singapore has amazing development and one of worlds lowest rates of homlessness the rapid development and little curruption is due to the implementaion of those high salaries. singapore is also the best place in the world to do businessand an econmic powerhouse putting all the western societies to shame and to imagine all this development in one generation in such a small country. without ur leader ud be quite poor... i wish my people had such a leader. guess u cannt never please everyone

  • i think speaking up is definitely POINTLESS. we should VOTE FOR THE OPPOSITION PARTY instead.

  • @kttandon the fact that your comment to me has received so many negative votes just goes to show that you lack maturity. I'm not boasting or anything.

Everyone is entitled to his own opinions. Thus, there's no need for you to take the trouble to shoot me and others down like that. Thank you.

  • First of all, they can get a taxi license to drive a taxi and earn money, or be a waiter or something, or a dish washer, some of the poverties are just plain lazy to work.

  • this is singapore... no money no talk, got money senseless talking also makes sense... more and more peolple are self perpetrator, doing what it real... doing with money.. no money can die cannot sick country... high cost of living is the price to pay for higher standard of living

  • @sgpolitics

well, u should be out there doing your job by treating these people? since the people here
