I can't possibly believe that her friends are that stupid to believe that those injuries are from falling down the stairs! just how did she manage to get two HUGE black eyes and purple cheeks from a fall down the stairs, I have falled head first down the stairs and didn't look like that at at (granted I landed on my sleeping dog...he's big don't worry) At least Haley didn't seem to believe the stair story when she talked to brooke and nathan was good enough a friend to go over and give her a hug

Brooke is the better friend, but Peyton has her moments too. Peyton cares about Brooke, she's the 'girl Peyton loves'. She just takes advantage of her sometimes.

well...i think peyton was maybe...i don't know excited about he married lucas that maybe she wasn't thinkig or worried about Brooke in that specific moment, besides i think Peyton in other seasons was a really great friend with Brooke even when they were fighting or not. well the point is BOTH are best friends and thats what matters in the end.

What I think is interesting is how Peyton believes Brooke, I mean. If you have two blue eys and the are "perfect" circles, not the hell do you think "Ah, the stairs" you could see from a far distance that this is not the work of stairs. I mean in that case she would have more bruises on her face. Not to mention the fingermarks on her neck/throat. I mean, come on Peyton. I know the truth eventually comes forward.... for some of them. (Do they know?) But Peyton is a little to self-centred here

Peyton is so dumb to believe that Brooke fell down the stairs. She is so self absorbed that after she tells that lie, Peyton smiles and "oh i am sorry" which sounds more 'oh that's not so big lets more on to me". This was bad writing on their part that proves Brooke is more concern about others feelings and Peyton isn't.

@fight4acause idk about you but when my friends tell me they fall, laughter usually follows. and peyton didn't even start talking about herself until brooke said something. peyton's first thought after seeing her friend like that isn't going to be "oh, well obviously she was attacked."

I am doubtful you laugh if there was bruises all over her face but my point is she let it go right away and to me she should have known Brooke was lying. I always know when my friends were lying. IMO if you look at the series as a whole from my perspective Peyton was not as good as a friend to Brooke as Brooke was to her.

"im the one who gets shot and you need consoling." -peyton. brooke made situations about her, too. and brooke made of peyton's moms deaths. that really is a great friend. you never hit that low. idc what the problem is

I am not going to keep going back and forth... Peyton is no longer on the show and for me good riddance. I used to love her until the writers turned her into an eternal damsel for Lucas. S1/S2 Peyton was the shit, S3 to S6 was horrible and shitty friend. Its my opinion. Good day.
