It's an equal amount of bullshit when you're playing PvP, one or more of your fellow Survivors are bots and the player playing a Boomer parks that Boomer's fat ass right next to a Witch and waits to get shot. Then, inevitably, one of your bots obliges him and shoots the Boomer, who explodes and startles the Witch. Bonus bullshit points if you're standing a little closer to the Witch and for some reason she ignores the Boomer-shooting bot and comes after you instead.
