@xXinsanelmoXx they are actually small compared to iguanas and monitor lizards which can also be a pet. all u really need is greens and crickets to keep them happy and healthy, those are the basics. they are the easiest to take care of and have have minimum health problems. do research, mention this and other good things to change their mind showing that you are Very Responsible. good luck and let me know what happens! :-)
@Trailers1080pHD thats weird now that i think about it. bearded dragons are really common here and are found in several pet stores like cats and dogs. I wish ferrets were legal in california but they're not
hey, i got one thats 5 days old, he doesnt wave or head bob, and only eats 4 crickets about every other day, he wont eat them every day, is this normal? or should i do somthing different?
@shansnut Wow he's young. Perfectly normal buddie. He's probably to young too eat all the time and getting use to the tank. Don't worry about the head bob or waving, I've only seen mine wave once in the 9 years I've had mine and he only head bobs when he feels threatened. Always offer greens and veggies in the tank too
Reptiles only develop salmonella if they are kept in conditions of poor hygiene, and even if they do have traces of it it will likely have no effect on a human unless it is somehow ingested... so don't lick your bearded dragon
@DeBoss62 Im pretty sure, that you cant prove that this lizard does not have salmonella on it... And im not trying to offend anyone im just trying make sure no1 gets ill.
@IIIChrisEFCIII Im pretty sure mine doesn't. Had him going on 9 years and never been sick after touching him, same with other people, he's just dope like that! Yeahhhh Booiiiiii!!!!!
@IIIChrisEFCIII Oh nice, I'd get 2 females. I'd like to get Rocko a friend but he'd probably go crazy and be super dominate and bit him/her. I can also slowly raise the other BD next to Rockos tank so they see eachother but no physical contact cause Rocko would probably try to eat him him/her.
Top quality comber right there.Drains your money with enclosures, substrate, food, but also gives love and a nice hair do :D
