The addon for kill messages is Localisation files, search for them and you'll have what you need.

Headshot messages you can't get though - that was because I was playing on a competition clan-mod for the game. In regular 2142 you can't get them.

I turn shadows/lighting on selectively :P Basically, for matches on maps with mesh grates (like camp gib, central camp) and covered over dark areas, I turn it off for better visibility. On other maps, I have it on, so you get the shadows coming round the corner if you're positioned well.

If I'm playing publicly or for fun, graphics get maxxed out though. In matches it's FPS all the way ^^

This is probably the best fragvid ever made. Perfect skill/editing, the transition inf/gs was just awesome, but I liked the inf part much more than the gs part (you should have shown more dogfights and such, there's only one GS you took down with normal rockets).

Every time I watch this vid (downloaded it, yea. Copyrights :D?) I just want to get on bf again :).

Lol cheers for that :) I did think about having more dog-fighting in there, but didn't include much for 2 reasons.

a) still needed some practice at dogfighting (I've improved since I've released this video... and I've already started on another video so should get something outta me there)

b) didn't fit the pace of the movie, so I kept it mostly to TV's :)

Next vid though... hopefully will be even better ^^

I'm a buddy of Yourself, he's a good player, but hardly anything groundbreaking. Warlord? That's laughable, last time I saw him on public he called me a tweaker and threw a small tantrum.

I don't see the point in arguing over who is the better player out of blahblah tbh. Anyone can play well on public servers (shooting noobs who don't know how to play) - real skill is shown in your contribution to wars and matches. Given I was in a team that was top of CB inf + titan... do the maths.

Find me in game ;) I'm pretty consistent, and most of the infantry kills are on clanmod servers against the upper-echelon players, so it's not exactly easy to reel in good streaks with the added detriment of fraps lag.

But yeah, talk is cheap, my skills are best shown in game ;)

How bad is your fraps lag? i can record at 60FPS on Low Graphics and at 30FPS on nearly all medium to high. Just strange 60FPS is hard core "Omg I can't hit foshizzle"

60FPS is a very good FPS to have if recording. I've just formatted my PC and installed vista so not sure what I'd get now, but on mostly low settings (and low res is the key to good frames) - got about 40-50, sometimes dropping more. So a bit difficult. Haven't tested it with new gfx card and vista yet though.

Lol I play clanmod daily, but with 125-200 ping it's really beginning to p!ss me off...(Shouldn't have moved to America). Amazing hitreg you got there. Could you send me an the settings of graphics you got in the video?

Playing high ping is bad, and playing against people who you're out-of-synch against is equally as bad (I can't hit Russians for one... their high ping throws my reg out entirely).

Graphics settings are all low except geometry, AA and view distance I believe - but I did enhance the effects afterwards in vegas. I've spent the last week playing maxed out for the fun factor again though.

Oh he basically commented what he's now recommented - saying that from 5:00 to 5:03 - is a demonstration that I use "hitfixer" (in case you didn't know, a program that generates tweaks for you on the fly so you have better hitreg).

Ironically, it is impossible to "see" and diagnose if someone is tweaking/using hitfixer via a video. So he's sort of making himself look silly with an unprovable accusation. The only way you can tell a hitfixer/tweaker is if they get kicked from a server as such.

And yeah.. well... hitfixer/tweaking is sort of a taboo subject for most of the inf clans... and it's a subject that's practically ruined competitive BF2 play (I can see it doing the same thing to 2142 at this rate - get a few kills vs some uber skilled euro-kiddy and you're a tweaker to him ofc :P)

and my clanmate oohraa is a much muuuuuuuch better pilot than myself :P but I'm sure your clan mates will tell you that, hehe.

Well, we're in definite need of practice... since we sat pretty at #1 for quite some time without really playing much... lack of practice just wore us down and it showed when we lost to i-clan. I've already spoken to LOKPEST and I think sometime in the near future it would be beneficial for both our teams to get some friendlies in for practice :)
