Hi AupaPeps! Many of the people making comments on this video have been grossly misinformed. This cover of Terrible Lie is not by Tool or Marilyn Manson- rather, it is simply a fan cover by a 2005 AIM undergraduate. It has been wrongly credited to Maynard James Keenan several times on Youtube and P2P sharing sites.

It doesn't take long listening to the supposed 'Tool' Terrible Lie cover to realise the production values and singing are nothing like those of MJK.

and i always thought trent was the one who orginally wrote this song....hmmm so he did a cover for johnny cash "hurt" and this song "terrible lie" did trent do any other covers?

trent did write terrible lie and hurt...

we were saying that the acoustic cover version was tool.

but, trent did cover joy division's "dead souls" and gary numan's "metal".

there are a few more i think but i'm not too sure at the moment.
