partnership for a drug free america used to be called straight inc and they used to try to get kids who used drugs off by using physical violence bent kids hands back deprived them of sleep food water and washroom facility's spat in there faces and lots of kids who survived it came out on harder drugs or committed suicide so they got sued and then changed there name to partnership for a drug free america. just a little history for you guys.
But don't forget, because some companies require drug testing, they also end up letting go of many competent, good employees who only like to party when off duty. Very productive!
Actually, the partnership videos are based on research - notice the fact included that drug users cost companies money. This is just a dramatization of research results. I think it's quite good. Also their research shows that their videos are effective at changing attitudes, and reducing drug use. I'm impressed.
@carltonb47 You're right. How dare people use antibiotic, antihistamines, painkillers, or other lethal drugs while in the workplace. How inconsiderate they are.
@carltonb47 Are you fucking kidding me? You honestly think that the goal of this commercial was to help companies do better? The goal of this commercial was to put ignorant morons like you into a state of mind that suggests "drug users in general hurt profits" so as to hide the true meaning which was "our government can't keep making money selling cocaine to inner city youths if business savvy individuals are funding less depraved dealers".
You know, if anti drug videos concentrated on giving facts rather than just making people outright terrified, they would work better. Sure, it's a good thing to stay away from cocaine, but it's not a good thing to be driven insane by fear of it. Fear is ignorance.
I'll bet if you call that number, it's just some gruff male voice that says "Fire the bastard!" and hangs up.
