Did you do any wetsanding on the enamel once it was done drying? on the primer before hand? did you apply a lacquer or clearcoat finish? I've got a sanded down guitar in my room, and I'm just about ready to get started, I just want to make sure of a few things.

this can really only work for the ibanez or strat model guitars. say if you did it on a les paul it would look really cheesy. and plus some peoples guitars come out looking bad. but for the ones that come out good thats a work of art really.this one came out fantastic so bravo! haha

The next person to ask 'what website' or' what is the song' I will personally make it my mission to destroy them. If you cant read the URL in the annotation ON THE VIDEO, or IN THE VIDEO TITLE or see the song name UNDER THE VIDEO WHERE IT ALWAYS IS then I really dont know how you have managed to survive this long without forgetting how to breath and suffocating. If you need help with something this simple then swirling a guitar is beyond you... trust me.

I tried this about 15 years ago when I saw this stuff being advertised on TV when I was flippin the channles. My only problem was getting the guitar body into the water, as it really wanted to float!

A second pair of hands is REALLY helpful to skim the top crap off before resurfacing.

Have you tried experimenting with different containers? So you could submerge the guitar in a different way? Might solve the problem of getting a more even covering.
