@avarley25 i live in the UK. we had 7/7 in which 100's of our citizens died. Also I have relatives over in the US, one of which worked in the WTC but was not killed in the attack so trust me, i know how I feel about those events. We too in the UK are glad that Osama is dead because of what he represents and the radicals he encourages. To us in the west Obama is a great leader but have you never heard of the saying "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter"?

All the US ever charged Osama with (a bit fishy in my opinion) was: Murder Of U.S. Nationals Outside The United States, Conspiracy To Murder U.S. Nationals Outside The United States, Attack On A Federal Facility Resulting In Death. Celebrating someone greats life after they have died if fine, however I would not say Osama was great. It's funny you mention that. Because after 9/11 there were celebrations by some in the Middle East. Did the European people or media condemn that? Nope. They "respectfully" reminded Americans that it was only a small percentage of Muslims that celebrated, most of them don't agree with terrorism. That's what we were told.

So if you're going to use that excuse then you have to cut the Americans the same slack considering 300 million people live there and only a few celebrated.
