Rainer Werner Fassbinder was one of cinema's greatest visual stylists. It's incredible how many films he directed in such a short period of time and it was tragic that such a talented individual died so young. "Lola" is the most beautiful color movie I have ever seen. The lighting in the film is extraordinary. As always, Fassbinder got great performances out of everyone.
