The Jewish people did not start a war with any country. In 1948, a piece of land was taken from Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon I believe. These areas where already predmoinantly Jewish so giving them their own state was right. Palestine was also made, the same time Israel was made. Syria took Palestine back and tried to take Israel back with the help of Iraq, Jordan, Egypt and much more help. They failed multiple times and now we have the state of Israel.
