A police officer can not stop and search a person or group of people for the way they look, the age of the people/group gender, race. The officer will need a reasonable suspicion, unless if the officer has information that the person/group match a or the suspects clothing etc
The officer also has to fill out a forum, which says why he was stopped and soo on. Which gets looked by a higher rank. If the officers reason for stop and search is not reasonable, the officer would get more training.

i think stop and search is a good thing if a police officer thinks/knows you got a weapon i think he/she should be able to search the person they could be saving someones life by searching someone who they think ahs got a weapon. and yes it happens to mostly black people coz its mostly black youths who carry weapons mostly for their safty
All that has changed on the new stop and search forms is the police dont record a decription of the person they are stopping now. Thats all. The information GIVEN to the stopped person is the same, but the information TAKEN has reduced. But hey sounds better if you spin it eh!!
