  • hey kitty - just refresh the page when that happens, sometime YT gets backed up that it shows that message. I hope you were able to watch it.

  • do you have the new MAC's blending brush..I think MakeupGeek mentioned the 226 I think it is ..it's recommended for small eyes..like mine..plus no could find that Ann's Mop Round brush..so I went and bought the 217 (i think again..lol) that's the name...thanks..

  • @EnKoreMakeup hi Enkore! thank you SOOOO much for all of your AMAZING videos! xoxo! :)

  • Thanks alot for this great vid, its helping me alot.

  • I always have the most difficult time with blending. It's like when I blend things together all the other colors dissappear and I end up with one color all over my eye.

I'm going to try these and see if it works!

Lol i can't wait to do my makeup tomorrow.

    Thanks for this!

  • that's exactly what happens to me

  • me three!

  • do u know any good cheaper blending brushes?

  • check out Crown Brushes or Coastal Scents

  • Saw your question about blending brushes. Koren does a video about that where he talks about using the Loew Cornell (thinks that's the right spelling). These are artist's paintbrushes that can get at places like Michael's Craft Store. He mentioned the 'Maxine Mop 3/8" as a good shading brush. He said they were very, very good and that they were a definite replacement for the MAC brushes. His video is included in the 200+ he has on here.

    Good Luck

  • Your makeup lessons are amazing Koren! Thank you!!!

  • thank you so much for all your videos, they're all so helpful and thorough!

  • fantastic!

  • Excellent, as always

  • your amazing :|

  • question on the bilateral blending...what if you use two different colors. for example yellow in the middle and purple on the both sides. can you use the same technique or will the colors mix together where you can't really tell that there's yellow in the middle?!

  • I love how techical you are in explaining these techniques. You are to makeup tutorials what Alton Brown is to cooking shows : ) You explain in great detail. Thanks!

  • Thank You for the blending video, very helpful!!!

  • THank you so much I love your videos !

You have helped me become a pro at make -up and I didn't think that was possible with me after years of being anti -makeup :)

  • Hey Koren!

I was just wondering how to blend without sweeping off the color? I find that when I blend eyeshadows I seem to sweep off some of the color while blending. What can I do to keep the color on? Is it my brush??

    thanks.

  • make sure your brush has nice soft bristles. And try to blend with almost just the tips of the brush touching the color, lightly - if you do it too hard, thats when you sweep the colors off.

  • thanks sooo much<3 you're awsome!

  • OMG, Thank you so much!!! I think I may have learned something!

    Charlotte

  • Oooh thank you

  • Excellent video! I have a question regarding the three styles shown: which is better for which eye shape? Or it doesn't really matter?

  • thes the fun part of makeup is trying out different variations. Play with different looks, youd be surprised at what suits you best.

  • i think it doesn't matter.. because it mainly focus on how your e/s are placed, & from there, you blend it like how he has taught.

  • Thanks for this video! I always see vids on here with people saying BLEND BLEND BLEND! but dont really tell you how...this helps so much especially since I am somewhat of a beginner.

  • thank you so much for the tips.

  • I have a question for you:

I am 20 years old, a Dr. Brandt poreless skincare devotee yet i have fine lines beneath my eyes. I use Bare Essentials primer and then Guerlain Issima Precious Light Smoothing Iluminator as my concealer; however, I still see the lines which make me look tired and old. What do you suggest I do to create a flawless eye?

    Thank You!

    xoxox

  • ah, change concealer -- the light smoothing illuminator catches light and amplifies the shadows in your fine lines -- just use regular concealer, and make sure to work your primer into the fine lines, and let it set for a few seconds before applying concealer so that the primer have time to fill in the lines.
