Has to be the most under-rated drummer alive. Last I checked, he was ranked #90 on the top 100 jazz drummers list..... #90, really? He can do it all, and his play is so clean, no matter the speed. He has some of the fastest hands out there, and his grooves are always original and creative. I'm not sure he's human, and I'd like to see proof that he's not some sort of machine instead. Simply unbelievable.

@RasheemH I'd say a lot of people know about him, but a legend? The (underrated) point I was trying to make is the fact that he is #90 on the top 100 jazz drummers list. Travis Barker is a household name... does he have a fraction of the talent that Royster jr. has? Hell, Lars Ulrich is #38 on the top 100 rock drummers list! But, I digress. Royster Jr. is one of those guys that always seems to impress me, and he is so young that the sky is the limit for him, he can be #1 on that list.

It's just amazing to me to see so many different drummers doing things I have never even heard of or thought of.I mean my generation of drummers had Keith Moon to immulate.This younger generation really doesn't seem to have anybody outstanding to immulate so they creat and do stuff on their own.It's amazing to see such playing.I have been playing for around 40 yrs but I could never do some of this stuff.But I am happy with my own playing though.Used to play rock and metal but now in church.
