Everyone is influenced by something. I highly doubt Twiggy would have spent that much of his life with that style solely because of one, even two people. After Smells Like Children, I don't think he bared any resemblance to Gidget other than having dreadlocks, in which case would make a million other people copiers of Gidget. If you researched both sides of the argument, you'd find that Twiggy has dealt with the male/female thing his whole life. He's worn a dress before even being in the band.
