@HeumEul Yes we can. But that's pure theoretical though. At your lower levels with no increased range your silence casting time is so high, the BP has yet cast his asal before you can silence him.
Futhermore, if they can't asal you, they stunlock you to dead with Sonic Hand.
Good tactic, if the BP isnt speed geared, is:
Silence Arrow - Dark Illusion (anti-stunlock) - nuke BP down from distance and hope he dies before you do. (or hit and run if you are faster than him! (Ice Arrow))
lol this video isnt totally true. cuz ive talked to Keydosbro, whos got like 2~3ppl that merged gears with him, so he was basically the strongest ranger on this server, but still got raped by blaeds / bp. and now with 3rd level jobs, Arcanist puts ppl to sleep, its over.

BPs still winning is obvious, op asal class. Same goes to blade. Yet, versus blades we got a chance as they mostly aren't tanky build, but damage build.

But, to do so, we need at least as much worth of gear, which is really hard, as the ones having most money all made a BP/Blade (and few YJs). Yet, theoretically, with the same amount of money, a ranger should be able to crit 20k in PvP fairly easy (with 100% CRate).
Despite that, as Ranger is rare, making gear is expensive, as you're the only one attempting to do so (you gotta start from clean).

@xErwinx1 In Arena, there is no such thing is a good "PvP Ranger", unless you have a huge level advantage. Why? Because arena is crowded with chicken asal BPs who only run in and asal. Which means, for arena PvP you'll need a lot of HP (lot of STA). This is, unless you play like a chicken as well. Then you need full-damage [pathethic-mode].
However, for serious PvP like Siege, you'll be focusing more for damage, as those BPs asal over 100k anyway.
@lilmissg361 By "new class" you meant the lv130 classes right? No thanks. Takes way too much time. I only play games in which I can log-in, do one quick match, and go back off. Flyff takes a lot of hours leveling straight to achieve the real high levels, especially those 130H levels.

@VZCaesar Yes, it's V13. Before Ancient/Lusaka weapons etc. Best PvP Ranger had to use a BBow, which couldn't win versus a BJ, unless you spent 100b on it. But if you had 100b, you were much better off making a blade. That version.
Ranger is more balanced in V16 PvP, yet, blades/BPs are still relatively overpowered. I doubt that will ever change in flyff.
@RAUM038 It's the type of players. If you watch around, you'll see why. There is only a few blades/BPs I knew who weren't retarded / totally full of themselves. Now, take the fact most people are blade/BP and ranger is most underplayed class, then you'll quickly come to the conclusion that certain people play certain classes and for some reason, rangers are the social creatures sticking together, whereas BPs/blades play for themselves. Mostly. Exceptions only confirm the rule.
@ob882 1v1 ranger is better off being a BJ. BJ is the very same as a ranger but with more CRate.
However, at the higher levels 1v1 rangers will be beating BJs, because they can wear ultimate weapons and have the bow buffs. Especially the hero buff with +range is epic in that case.
With other words, you'd better make an AoE ranger if you make a ranger, unless you have a lot of money. With money 1v1 ranger is possible [full-dex], else AoE is better. Best for AoE is 30-40sta rest dex.
@ob882 Why would you ever take INT? Why would you ever want to increase your MP pool? If you got enough mana to cast the most expensive skill you have, you're fine. Just use a MP potion afterwards. They don't have any cooldown and they're instant so...
Besides, within one AoE you'll use your entire MP pool anyway, INT or no INT. So it doesn't even save you money on MP pots taking INT. In fact, taking INT makes you lose money!, as you need more MP since your skills deal less damage (less DEX).
@FlyHighLegend 30-40sta rest dex stays best all-round imo, yet it's not like you HAVE to make a new ranger / restat with that build. 55sta is still acceptable. A little bit much, but acceptable. Simply compensate the high-STA build with as much DEX awakes (rather than STA) and +ATT (rather than +DEF). Then you won't even notice your build being any different.
(Besides the fact I also went for +ATT/+DEX awakes as full-dex, but nvm. You'll reach master with that (and then free restat at 60-M)).
@GmaulGOD I'm the only hero level available. Look to the upload date / version.
And no, 104-M probably won't do, as they increased the level gap to the ridiculous value of 139 (if not more). Then they run a 25x exp event (for gpot buyers) and you suddenly have 1000 139-H within one day. Well, as you may be able to guess, a 104-M won't stand a chance versus a 139 regardless of gear. The levelgap is too much.
@mspark89 In an ultimate weapon +6-+10 you have something different as "piercing", called "socketing". At +6 you have 1 socket and at +10 you have 5 sockets.
Now, if you place Diamonds in those sockets, you have a chance to get "PvP Damage". At +10 it's something like +32% PvP damage. So you deal 32% more damage with all attacks in PvP.

@MrKraazy No and no. I've hardly PvPed at my YJ, so I'm not that experienced (yet it's not hard imo. Still, harder as a BP, but their PvP is just fucked up).
And the second no... I've quitted flyff. My YJ doesn't have any gear and flyff's patch is very outdated on my computer. And no, I won't return (see: quitting video).

Anyway, when I still played flyff, the first time you should simply die, as weird as it may sound. Then you know his HoP damage, his look and his name.
The next time he comes you know what he looks like and thus what to do. If you can survive his HoP, simply start attacking him and use a pill right after HoP.
When you can't survive HoP, or when you've practised a lot, you should run into him. When he starts casting, equip a yo-yo and use counterattack.

I Like rangers real and they are very very good at aoeing and when you have the eq the 2nd best dmg dealer in flyff ( in my opinoin jester are the weakest dmg dealer)

at the moment ich hit at pvp mit +6 earrings and +13 rings about 3,8-4,5k dmg with 70% critrate ( as aoe build ) and without cruiser .

Compare blade and ranger dmg - blade will win at any time in PvP.
Compare BP and ranger PvP - BP only needs to get 1 skill activated, which he will always succeed at (unless he's an epic noob).
Assuming you think ranger/BJ are overpowered, I assume you kinda suck with the REAL overpowered classes (BP/blade - everyone will agree on this)? Or you fight rangers/BJs who are 40 levels above your own level - if not more - which means your complaint is invalid.

@alexcanton2 Once again, ranged characters lose many damage to compensate their rangeadvantage. It's simply retarded if you want them to start the fight melee. As a matter of fact, once a BP gets to melee range, the ranged attacker has lost. BP is the only class who can deal a shitload of damage with one skill AND BP is the only class who can stunlock his enemy. Conclusion: BP is overpowered.
Also, a lv80 npc knuckle+0 means "no money" too. Besides, a lv80 ranger doesn't even have 5k HP...

There are zero, 0, nada BJs in my video, only rangers. A lv60 ranger can't possibly hit 4-5k. In fact, a hero ranger with an angel bow+10/10fire with 25% attack suit will hit only 2k in PvP lol.. 4k with a critical (35% critical rate), gives an average of 2.7k dmg per hit. And you are saying a lv60 ranger can hit 4-5k? No way, dude, no way.
@alexcanton2 Also, if we DI and you cast asal when we start the animation, you WILL hit. Try it out by yourself. Your BP will keep following the BJ/Ranger while he is invisible and he will use asal when he is inside the range. The only way to dodge this is by fleeing: leave the arena. But same goes for BP... 90% of the BPs run in, asal, and run out (a.k.a. asal noobs).
About permstun, yes its op. If someone is permstunned in 1v1, there is simply nothing that person can do to escape? Equals OP.

Now, take the fact most people are blade/BP and ranger is most underplayed class, then you'll quickly come to the conclusion that certain people play certain classes and for some reason, rangers are the social creatures sticking together, whereas BPs/blades play for themselves. @ob882 1v1 ranger is better off being a BJ. BJ is the very same as a ranger but with more CRate.
However, at the higher levels 1v1 rangers will be beating BJs, because they can wear ultimate weapons and have the bow buffs. Especially the hero buff with +range is epic in that case.
With other words, you'd better make an AoE ranger if you make a ranger, unless you have a lot of money. With money 1v1 ranger is possible [full-dex], else AoE is better. Best for AoE is 30-40sta rest dex.

@ob882 Why would you ever take INT? Why would you ever want to increase your MP pool? If you got enough mana to cast the most expensive skill you have, you're fine. Just use a MP potion afterwards. They don't have any cooldown and they're instant so...
Besides, within one AoE you'll use your entire MP pool anyway, INT or no INT. So it doesn't even save you money on MP pots taking INT. In fact, taking INT makes you lose money!, as you need more MP since your skills deal less damage (less DEX).

@FlyHighLegend 30-40sta rest dex stays best all-round imo, yet it's not like you HAVE to make a new ranger / restat with that build. 55sta is still acceptable. A little bit much, but acceptable. Simply compensate the high-STA build with as much DEX awakes (rather than STA) and +ATT (rather than +DEF). Then you won't even notice your build being any different.
(Besides the fact I also went for +ATT/+DEX awakes as full-dex, but nvm. You'll reach master with that (and then free restat at 60-M)).

And no, 104-M probably won't do, as they increased the level gap to the ridiculous value of 139 (if not more). Then they run a 25x exp event (for gpot buyers) and you suddenly have 1000 139-H within one day. Well, as you may be able to guess, a 104-M won't stand a chance versus a 139 regardless of gear. The levelgap is too much.

@mspark89 In an ultimate weapon +6-+10 you have something different as "piercing", called "socketing". At +6 you have 1 socket and at +10 you have 5 sockets.
Now, if you place Diamonds in those sockets, you have a chance to get "PvP Damage". At +10 it's something like +32% PvP damage. So you deal 32% more damage with all attacks in PvP.
That's what I meant.

It´s no problem when you havn´t got a lot of money when you are still at the "low-lv".
you only need +3 stams & plugs with a +3 gore and NpC-eq and a f-bow
On lvl 75 you chance on a +3 okas and a his-bow . now you can lvl @ azria
already very well. on lvl 90 then a a-bow and when you are on lvl 95/100/105
you have ,when you saved the money , enougth for a nice Raze.

@Oolliwan14 Nothing, as I quitted flyff.
Anyway, when I still played flyff, the first time you should simply die, as weird as it may sound. Then you know his HoP damage, his look and his name.
The next time he comes you know what he looks like and thus what to do. If you can survive his HoP, simply start attacking him and use a pill right after HoP.
When you can't survive HoP, or when you've practised a lot, you should run into him. When he starts casting, equip a yo-yo and use counterattack.

that i wanted to use bow with so my friend told me u need to be a bj but then i found that ranger stuff gives mp wich is compatible for acro bow skills so i lvled it and its 57 then i got hacked by the same friend :/ then i did another aco and its ranger now lvl 71 but the problem is tht it is lvl 71 with 50 sta rest dex wixh is i think fail i got also an aoe lvl 105 bp xD do i continue with my ranger?

I Like rangers real and they are very very good at aoeing and when you have the eq the 2nd best dmg dealer in flyff ( in my opinoin jester are the weakest dmg dealer)
I only don´t know why so many people can´t see how strong rangers are.
at the moment ich hit at pvp mit +6 earrings and +13 rings about 3,8-4,5k dmg with 70% critrate ( as aoe build ) and without cruiser .
rangers are really awesome . Rangeraoe = knightaoe only much funnier and faster ^^

Compare blade and ranger dmg - blade will win at any time in PvP.
Compare BP and ranger PvP - BP only needs to get 1 skill activated, which he will always succeed at (unless he's an epic noob).
Assuming you think ranger/BJ are overpowered, I assume you kinda suck with the REAL overpowered classes (BP/blade - everyone will agree on this)? Or you fight rangers/BJs who are 40 levels above your own level - if not more - which means your complaint is invalid.

@alexcanton2 I'm sorry, but if you ask an archer for a close-combat fight as a melee character, YOU are the retard. We get less dmg / DEX as you get dmg / STR for being ranged. We simply get less damage! Obviously we want to have the range advantage - to BALANCE it.
Also, why can't BJ use Dark Illusion? Then BP can't use Asal either. Open your eyes: BP can deal 300k PvP dmg with 1 single skill. No BJ can beat that -.-'
In fact, if you casted asal already, it will hit even if the BJ uses DI.

@alexcanton2 Once again, ranged characters lose many damage to compensate their rangeadvantage. It's simply retarded if you want them to start the fight melee. As a matter of fact, once a BP gets to melee range, the ranged attacker has lost. BP is the only class who can deal a shitload of damage with one skill AND BP is the only class who can stunlock his enemy. Conclusion: BP is overpowered.
Also, a lv80 npc knuckle+0 means "no money" too. Besides, a lv80 ranger doesn't even have 5k HP...

There are zero, 0, nada BJs in my video, only rangers. A lv60 ranger can't possibly hit 4-5k. In fact, a hero ranger with an angel bow+10/10fire with 25% attack suit will hit only 2k in PvP lol.. 4k with a critical (35% critical rate), gives an average of 2.7k dmg per hit. And you are saying a lv60 ranger can hit 4-5k? No way, dude, no way.

@alexcanton2 Also, if we DI and you cast asal when we start the animation, you WILL hit. Try it out by yourself. Your BP will keep following the BJ/Ranger while he is invisible and he will use asal when he is inside the range. The only way to dodge this is by fleeing: leave the arena. But same goes for BP... 90% of the BPs run in, asal, and run out (a.k.a. asal noobs).
About permstun, yes its op. If someone is permstunned in 1v1, there is simply nothing that person can do to escape? Equals OP.
