  • THAT WAS AMAZING!!!! Ive been looking up bouzouki's for a while now, and im interested in buying one. Can you tell me what type is that? like Trinity College? or perhaps a custom one?

  • really nice flow

  • Excellent . . .BRAVISIMO!

  • @BlueSuedeTom Thanks ! very much )

  • sounds awesome :)

  • Not rusty at all! Loved the tunes.

  • overdrive??

  • Wow, and I thought I was cool because I can squeak out a tune on a guitar. I don't know much about these instruments, but that sounded cool.

  • wonderful! left a pleasant taste in my ears :)

  • you've got your sensory organs confused. It concerns me so much it left a strange smell in my eyes

  • :) well, i hope the smell clears so you can see clearly again. i am still hearing the aftertaste--goes to the soul, my friend, to the soul!

  • Both songs kicked my ass.

  • Thanks Rjmorg, that means a lot to me.

    nice one!good man,

  • Thankyou. I very much enjoyed that. Could that be one of my children you have there?

    Tom Buchanan.

  • Awesome!!! i wish i had one

  • great work. really class

  • You are great! I play Irish bouzouki myself and have it tuned in DADG, how is your bouzouki tuned?

  • Thanks

    harpolekare

I tune DADG or sometimes EADG,

    DADG's best!Thanks again.sean.

  • irish music with bouzouki sounds great. i can't understand how but i think there is a conection between greek and irish music

  • we use minnor keys the same i think,

  • i don't know if it is the music (besides i have never studied music and i know nothing about minnor keys. i only play what i hear) or just the feeling. but even your dances look so familiar to me like no other traditional dance in the world

  • in the early 1900's a few Irish Folk heroes went travelling the world learning and playing different types of music. there are a lot of different types of irish trad fushions as a result. the Bouzouki was something them brought back, hence the relation...

  • Great Job!!

    Thanks

    jack

  • That was beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks man,I appreciate that thanks,sean.

  • Ah, the classic combination of Border Collies and music!

My two favourite subjects - I work as a sound engineer as well as being a volunteer for BCR.

Mainly for live band sound re-enforcment but do a bit of radio and studio work from time to time.

Used to put on a lot of gigs in Yorkshire and had one BC that grew up around bands from a very young age. Came to every gig and welcomed people at the door.

Got to thinking he could probably stage an event better than I could!

    All the best - Mike

  • Good man,all the best too,sean

  • This is not an instrument that I'm familiar with but it has wonderful sound and you handle it well.

Both good songs, catchy - but I like the second part 'Walk Home' most.

Can see another instrument behind you. Not to clear, long thin neck with what looks like 5 machine heads. Could take it for a 5 string bass instrument.

From the way you are handling and playing the Bouzouki you seem pretty competent.

Do you play in a band?

    Good stuff sean.

    Post some more.

    Please!

  • good stuff dude...keep it going

  • cheers man ,thanks
