@LtBobby123 the G71GX-RX05 model sold at best buy had 6gb ram w/ 2.6GHz on the cpu overclocked to 2.8,, the A1 models had differnet options i believe! not to sure, its a real long time that i looked it up!
well for one when i bought this computer i needed games to play... and secondly i have never played counter strike source or the ones before, so i figured i purchase it and play it. and i can simply answer your question as because the laptop can play anything!
I like the vids man. I'm planning on picking one of these G71gx's up refurbed. Probably gonna be playing MW2 like no other haha. Good vids though, helped me make my decision :)
yeah man this notebook is awesome. hopefully that refurbished book does you well. mine i bought new, and just did a clean install on free wnidows 7 update, and im liking it even more. i would buy MW2 for pc.. but i have it for xbox360 and my family has it for ps3, so no need for another one lol.
oh man patris99paying any much attention?...do you know what notebook im playing on.. do you know the reason why i uploaded these videos, because a large majority of people still play CSS.. me im new to it.. me wtf is COD6 there is no such thing there is COD MW2.. which i do not own but on xbox 360 for the reason i have friends on xbox live. im sorry not any pc can play CSS in max settings. my videos are of an older date also. look when videos are posted first please next time. it helps
this notebook is great for these Valve games. Run TF2 60+fps up to excess of 100+ again depending on the graphics settings, CS:S plays normally round 90+fps i want to say... i really dont pay attention to fps during gameplay, but i can assure you that it plays these games very smoothly without a hitch. keep in mind this is the BestBuy Version which is not sold no more, just saw the G72gx from bestbuy.. Im not a fan of the new model. but still the same specs just Windows 7 on it. so yeah, enjoy!
again, I never said i was pro, i just started the other day, this was just for the people deciding on getting the notebook, and to get an idea of the game performance,
why dont you make a video of you playing and post, and i wont have to watch it why? because it will be pointless....
uhm doesn't the RX05 have 4gb of ram and a 2.0ghz processor while it's the G71GX-A1 that has 6gb? Correct me if I'm wrong

no need as i use fraps. i get 45-200fps in game. it plays well

this video actually shows the power of the processor since theres a whole lot of bots and hardly any lag even with fraps

OH, this video is ASUS G71Gx running CS:S? Because I want to buy that laptop, but I don't know if it's really good for games like TF2.
