Is it going to remain 'Lost Friends Day' or should we think of a new name for it. Lost Friends makes me think of dead friends and there is already a memorial day here in the US. But I think 'Lost Friends Day' has a nice ring to it.
Hmm , ok. Hoe about first Friday of each August. This is in the middle of other holidays and being a Friday allows for long weekend in case you plan to travel to see a friend.
That is a great idea. Its much better than the cheesy Valentine's day Hallmark invented.
Maybe we should try and get it going. What month needs a Holiday? Lets pick a day in the middle of the gap between other Holidays and start practicing this one.
With your new holiday soon to arrive, I have looked into reacquainting myself with some old friends and found four so far to contact.

Does anyone have the skills to start a 'Lost Friends Day' website and start a promotion?
If they can have a 'Talk Like A Pirate Day', I think we can get this one to happen as well.
