I'm surprised that this bike is commercialized on market. The bike is builded too heavy for nothing and underpower. The 250W motor normally is used on the bike of the half of this weight. It doesn't take an engineer mind to see those problems.
The frame , handle bar , front fork are too massive....it's a sturdy bike of course but as I said ,.... overkill! with that mass of weight and small motor , you can not get it up hill or mountain biking anyway so why do I need that heavy duty bike ?
...Oh by the way , because of those weak points , I decided to convert an ordinary Norco mountainbike to electric bike and I'm very happy ... better performance , faster and lighter
I saw the 450W on american site too. Is it an error or the newer , improved model ? I don't know . Anyhow I think it's still the big heavy model in electric bike.
Look at all the views some of these electric bike video clips are getting? How many of them go over a bona fide 27 miles per hour and can go for over 10 miles per charge without pedaling a stroke? The Electric Horse™ does and I have a patent pending on an even better looking and functioning mod' that will be approved some time in June. Ashamed to see people wasting $ on ? bikes instead of the answer bike: Electric Horse™ Wiscokiddd on you tube. Peddle if you want...
Liberty Bikes SUCK. I have emailed them everyday for a month to purchase a simple, Shock absorber. Avoid Liberty electric bikes like the plague. Dealing with this company is like dealing with a deaf and blind limb-less mormon missionary. They dont listen and dont care about customers.

I think your weight has something to do with it too...maybe more-so than the weight of the bike... Yea... Better shed a few eh?
