How did you manage to grow them so long? The longest I could ever grow them was about 10mm (white part). I can normally grow them to 6-8mm but then they get something that looks like fish scales on the edge.. I really don't know what to do, and I don't know what causes them either.

I admit I thought they were fake too in the ranbow water marbling vid you did. Now I can see they're not. I guess I thought everybody's nails would curve all funky like mine do if they get more than a medium short manicure length. If your nails get too long they get veins in them and then you have to remove them by surgery so cut your nails before that happens.
