  • wow...my sis is eleven and shes doing this for her recital...

  • At the beginning their movement was beautiful.. But if they kept in sync at the end it would have appeared to flow more.. Definitely pleasing to listen to! And an amazing performance!

  • absolutely wonderful

  • I never comment on videos but after watching this and reading the comments I felt compelled to: I think this is a wonderful performance - they're on a boat, not pieces of jetsam! As a musician, I believe how you move/look certainly helps portray the feeling, emotion and atmosphere of the music. Can you imagine performers with cheesy grins, dancing around on stage playing Barber's Adagio for Strings?

So I'm interested to hear people's thoughts on Lang Lang and Joshua Bell...?

  • too much movement. distracting

  • @akiaki9jade if you don't like the movements, close your eyes and enjoy by hearing the music oO let them move how they feel the music

  • @IMarvinKuI body language is an inseparable part of the musical performance, haven't you realized? oO back

  • Pourqoui ils sonst vraument en bateau??? xDD

  • @JosiSchatzi

They move in synch. They know what the other is doing. (They can't keep looking at each other.)

The most expressive and handsome playing of this music on the web.

  • wonderful!! will try to play this with my student.

  • Ils sont vraiment en bateau :-)

  • Heh, I actually think it's interesting to see what kind of movements they make at each place in the music...

  • "Richter hated planning concerts years in advance, and in later years took to playing at very short notice in small, most often darkened halls, with only a small lamp lighting the score. Richter claimed that this setting helped the audience focus on the music being performed, rather than on extraneous and irrelevant matters such as the performer's grimaces and gestures."

    -Wikipedia on Sviatoslav Richter.

After all, he was only the best; what does he know?

  • Beautiful nice play, but please stop moving ... :-P

  • What is your problem people?

Fortunatelly great actors always reach the point when they can ignore stupid opinions like yours.

Because if they would care about morons, and what morons says, it could stop them to express themselves as the way it is more comfortable for them. And then they couldn't give us such beautiness like this one.

Anyways, even the way they moving is very nice. Like a kind of dance from the soul. You can see, that for her nothing matters at the moment, just the music.

  • The first part is very delicious, a music for dreaming!!

  • Very beautiful.

I play the secondo part for this piece, so I know how hard it was to get the rhythmic right .

  • jeu très expressif !!! bravo! belle coordination!!!

  • Very beautifully expressed. You two play well as an ensemble

  • wonderful!

  • bravo
