I was wondering if they repointed up the brick when they were done because it looked like there were no mortar between the bricks its a wonder that the chimney didnt blow out with all the presure ! It seemed as though the guy looked like he knew what he was doing and i have been a Brick Mason for 27 years and i could tell it wasnt his first date with a trowel . Besides he was trying to make a good impression on the video .
WOW, I'm sorry but i have to comment. First off this is the same process as "golden Flue" or "Solid Flue". Second, This guy looks like he has never worked on a chimney before, he is too dressed up like he could be the owner of the company and doesn't want his guys to appear on camera. Finally the tile that this guy puts in place will crack or simply come out every time the chimney gets swept.
Supaflu is the poured liner system that was introduced to the US back in the late 1970's. It was developed by a gentleman from the UK named Peter MacFarland well before either of the other products you mention were ever created. Yes, the installation process is similar, but the products are certainly different. As for the man in this video, he has been an Authorized Installer of the product since 1986 as well as operating a masonry company. Today he happened not wear his top hat! LOL
