Muse havent gone pop at all, the people who say that are not true fans who only listened to one or two songs of the resistance album, exogenesis werent pop AT ALL, infact propbably the most different thing muse ever made, Unnatural selection and MK ultra was just as heavy as this song, the only song that was truly pop was undisclosed desires. You guys just cant handle that muse are incredibly talented and have to experiment with different genres,other than just sticking with rock.

Rock can be pop, jazz can be pop and classical could be pop. It just so happens that today the most popular stuff is electronic music and fake black music bought by middle class white kids.

@g2theb yeah :) but that music has become SO popular that it has split off into its own genre in a way. if something is referred to as pop it is most of the time being called a certain type of music (whats popular at that time). so this genre isn't really fixed, as pop used to be rock and roll, but now pop is crap :L basically a band being popular doesn't make it pop, but it being the sort of music that is super popular makes it pop. sorry if i made no sense :L but thats what i see pop as :)

I think Reddog is referring to the long-time fans who have been attending concerts for years. Naturally, they're losing respect for the band's live shows because 1) the setlist has hardly budged this tour, and 2) they've lost a good deal of their metal mojo. Casual fans leave happy because they don't know that Muse used to be even better. I'd be disappointed, too... I am, a bit.

But anyway, epic performance. I love how Matt pulls an Anthony Keidis and skates over the lyrics xD
